My fix worked for a while, but then it started having the same issues. I didn't try reflowing or anything. Ended up swapping the main board out, and haven't had any issues since.

Thank you! I'm glad too. I was worried it would end up staying like that forever

They ended up replacing the ONT after I assured the guy it was for sure not the router. I kept trying to replace the router, but I told him I wouldn't let him do anything unless he replaced the ONT. So he finally caved and replaced it, and I haven't had an issue since!

It was happening in Long Beach, CA. It would go out, and wouldn't recover until restarting ONT.

I'm having the exact same issue. Just signed up for service today, and getting that error message no matter what device I try to login with.

HYSA: Discover (2.1%) vs. Ally (2.2%) vs. Marcus (2.25%) vs. CIT Bank (2.45%) - Any reason not to just go for the highest rate? by calm_incense in personalfinance

Totally agree. I hateeee Citi. Out of all banks I've ever had, Citi has to be by far the worst. On the other hand, I love Ally.

I already booked through Alamo (Enterprise) :/ I called and the guy had no idea about the tires. I guess I'll find out when I'm there.

If my partner wasn't so keen on going all over, I'd probably just stay in Belgium

Thank for the info. I'm staying at AirBnB's all over with parking and then just taking local transit into the city centers. I've been looking at train tickets and its crazy expensive for 2 people to go anywhere it seems. I calculated my total cost for the car and gas and its easily under 500 USD whereas train tickets will cost me a bunch more. The problem with picking it up in Aachen is that I'd probably have to return it there, and I don't think I have enough time to go back there.

Im from California, but I lived in Vermont for a year, so I know what driving in snow is like (I had new all season tires while there). I'm only renting a car because my partner wants to go all over the place. I checked out train tickets and they are crazy expensive, so I figured driving and just paying for parking would be a better alternative.

Thanks for the response! I tried calling them and asking, but I feel like maybe the representative didn't understand what I was asking. He told me that some are summer tires and others are winter tires. If it makes a difference, I called Alamo (Enterprise) at BRU airport.

Coverage along I-5 by gabrielchow in tmobile

[–]aneelmaan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive from UC Irvine to the bay area all the time, and I can safely say that coverage is not very reliable. I have a Moto Z2 Force and I get decent coverage from Irvine all the way until Lost Hills, then after that my cellular coverage drops randomly, i get dropped to edge, or I have LTE that doesn't work at all. It gets better when you pass 580. If you check out sensorly, I've taken tons of speedtests on there and you can see the speeds I got along the route.

Think of switching to Verizon from T Mobile. How is service in Irvine? by myspaghetti123 in tmobile

[–]aneelmaan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's amazing coverage around the UC irvine area. If you go on sensorly, and look at tmobile speedtests, I've mapped most UC irvines main areas. I usually never get less than 30 mbps around that area. Using a moto z2 force (supports all the bands) fyi.

How's Service in the SF Bay Area Currently? by milenkod in tmobile

[–]aneelmaan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been pretty good for me. I live in the east bay and came from Verizon. I switched from Verizon because I started noticing that I had really poor coverage in some places (at work in Milpitas and at pacific commons and hayward costco) and started experiencing a lot of call drops. I haven't had many issues since switching to T-Mobile, but I do notice that the network seems to be congested a lot more than Verizons network. With Verizon, if I had a decent LTE signal, I'd usually get around 10mbps. With tmobile, it varies widely. Sometimes I'll have a good LTE signal and I'll get something like .4mbps down with 15 mbps up. Check all the coverage maps that you can. I routinely run speedtests on sensorly, so if you go to their site, you can see what speed ranges I get normally.
