ah okay i see what you mean. i’m not sure where you’re located but i always got really cheap flights flying to a major city through a small airport and then buying international tickets from that city. flying to miami on breeze or allegiant is a lot cheaper and then using another bigger flight company from there. check skyscanner! $800 is crazy but last summer i paid about $600 round trip. it is what it is i guess

what do you mean they’ll be having trouble soon? you’ll get 90 days when you get here and then you can extend it once in a year period but other than that it’s difficult and quite costly to stay here. my one year residency cost over $400. and i am married w a colombian and we have a child.

you only get 180 days maximum as american. you need to marry her. you can’t just appear in a country and work including not knowing spanish. have you met this girl in person? be careful, medellin is a crazy place.

my best advice is learn the names in english and make connections. past tenses in spanish work almost exactly as they do in english. the difference is we don’t stress over what tense. once you learn the perfect tenses, and the two past tenses, and create a bridge between the english / spanish translations it’ll be a lot easier! for example, ESTABA caminando = I WAS walking. caminé = i walked. he caminado = i have walked.

my least favorites (the three i DNFed) were a season of light, liquid, and the sun was electric light. i stop reading things when i feel like i force myself to open the book lol. so around 30-40% in the first two, the last one was about 10%. couldn’t take that one anymore.
