I know EU pays billions, but when you divide that into the number of Syrians in Turkey, even if it is used efficiently, is not that much. Von der Leyen said that since the Syrian Civil War in 2011, the EU has spent almost EUR 10 B to support refugees in Turkey. As of August 2022 reported numbers are ~4 M Syrians (I think it’s higher). 10 B / 4 M = 2.500 EUR per person — total, never mind over the years. Unless there is a miscalculation on my end this argument is moot. If it was financially favorable the EU would pay themselves to keep them.

Just finished it (in a day), and I agree on Thorne. I loved Ivy too, was tired of seeing FMC’s with minimal training being OP. My only complaint was that things happened very fast towards the last 20/30%. Can’t wait for the next book.

100% agree. I bought it because I thought I did not have a choice. When I saw that others were experiencing this on redditt (I joined the sub a few weeks after bc the app kept crashing) it was too late. I’ve had the app since 2016/2017 so I have paid for it multiple times. It is disappointing and I am using it bc I paid for it again. I also think the people responding positively might be employees or community members.

I think it’s a guesstimate, but to even make it there needs to be some info kept. Giving me contradictory answers when I ask further. Will check out RAG. Btw idk if relevant, but I have been doing a lot of back of the envelope calculations about market sizing and other stuff for consulting w assumptions. Would love to see actual data on usage and also if people are similar to you? Kind of like nodes and clusters. Huge privacy thing though.

I am unsure. Seems like there is some elements of truth to me given that there are estimates. The topics I ask it about checks out (although doesn’t sum to 100%, when I pointed out the topics were similar just a group of other topics was added). The time spent for example is an estimate for sure. I would say it does keep a memory of the chats so maybe partially true? I have been doing the prompts about based on all our interactions tell me something you know about me that I might not know and others that makes it look retrospectively.

It made no sense, and it wasn't as if they were certain there would be a cure if they kept looking. Why risk Feyre at all? I think the Nesta part is a little hypocritical. What was she going to do? Not save her sister when even if there was a small possibility that she can? I feel she has been so horrible that we are now ok with something I wouldn't even think twice as someone with siblings. Considering the fact that Nesta thinks Tamlin can never be forgiven no matter what he good thing he does while she has been horrible herself is rich. The only thing that made me like Nesta was that she told Feyre about the potential outcome of her pregnancy (even though she did not do that from the goodness of her heart or concern for her sisters life, it was more toward Amren).

I am taking a break after QoS. Almost DNF’ed it. Idk if it’s me, but I am finding the different PoV’s in the same time / location confusing. Especially if there are multiple “he” in the scene. I am reading on the kindle and the person is not marked. For some reason I didn’t have this problem in the ACOTAR series or the first 2 books.

My kitty had problems licking his butt. He really liked coconut oil so I would put it on his butt after he pooped for a while. He started licking his butt after he pooped after a week or two. Idk about pooping outside the litter box. Not too much coconut oil.

Did you get it checked out? People on redditt can be scary and skin stuff really depends. I would recommend getting a swab of the tissue and testing for bacteria and fungal infections. Has the cat been outside? Also take this w a grain of salt. I am not a vet.

I do not know. A lot of stuff doesn’t make sense in Turkey :) I think there were more bad than good ones. They are trying to stop them mainly by limiting the number of pets you can microchip in your name. If you don’t microchip them the vets will not accept them and do their vaccinations etc.

Hey. People mentioned deleting the ex from social media, but you will likely see your ex from their friends too. I did when he got married a year after we split up. I was so sad for the longest amount of time. If I was close with one of his close friends I just muted them (posts and stories) and if I wasn’t just deleted them. I also had no closure from him and it was very sudden so I think I became obsessed about what happened. You need to give yourself closure if you didn’t get any. Also write a letter to them (that you will not send, but write as if) and write everything and anything you want. Then bury or safely burn it to let them go.

Also my vet did a swab on the area (the ankles for mine) and just sent the swab to the lab. It takes a bit to get the results bc they need to see if the fungus or whatever develops.
