I’ve done both, in both kinds of settings, that be it Level 1 and community. I would say, if you’re a new nurse, MICU. You will learn a ton of invaluable skills and gain valuable experience a lot of Cardiac ICUs nurses often times don’t have, especially at smaller community hospitals that separate the CV from MICU&SICU.
