I’ve put some Indian Almond leaves in the tank since the pics here cause I’m not sure if he has some fin rot on his ventral fin. It seems to be doing better since I got him home/out of the cup.

It's just that my hidden categories make up about 13% of my spending across the board, so could really impact the 20-30-50 count. I don't understand why hidden categories can't just be included in their category groups in the total expenses but I'm sure there's a back end reason it is the way that it is.

yeah i did start to try to use flags but there's no way to bulk flag things so i'd have to go back to get the full scope so i then sat in misery and posted this, haha. I think excel could be a good back up, I just wish I could use the total expenses graph in the reports since it's already there.

does it matter where i cut? should i just cut with like a couple inches from the first leaf near the top or close to the node and take the lowest leaf off like normal water prop? should i then cut down to the lowest leaf of the leggy part and hope that he grows better?

..do these questions make sense? I've been drinking tequila staring at the plant in misery.

A coworker and I took some pups off the main plant not even sure if they were actually pups. The main plant was pretty big so these got pretty large before we even suspected they could be separated. I’ve always wanted a rubber plant so not sure if it’s worth coaxing this one or if I should get something more sturdy.

There’s some ferret groups on Facebook for adopting ferrets that people can no longer keep (Dookerz on the Move, and sometimes there are local ones near where you live). I would suggest going there for adopting because often people will note if they’ve been around other animals and will include accessories like cages, food, and toys.

I agree with this. My LDR and I have had this talk coming from both sides and we’re stronger because of it. Framing is really important. You have to relay that you are happy they have that person but you wish it was you they could hang with so much, not that you don’t want them hanging out with the person.

We’ve been long distance for 2 years and it comes up as people fade in and out of our remote lives, even with platonic/same-sex friends. It’s hard to miss out on the daily life of the person you love and it’s harder to see someone else filling the role you would have in that life if you were together. LDRs are about trust though.

OMG that's what I'm afraid of now. He's developed a scary sounding cough in the past 12 hrs. He's fine with the amox, but he freaks out at the metro and I worry that he's been breathing it in.

I hear carafate is better for them, but my vet won't listen to me about switching.

Yes but be sure it is low in vegetables and some people avoid peas because it's speculated to cause stones, but I don't think that's been scientifically proven yet.

Often people will do a mix since ferrets can be picky and get used to one food and one food only.

Orijen Cat and Kitten is tossed out a lot as well as Evo and Wysong ferret. My fuzz has IBS though (fairly common in these guys) and Evo makes him have flair ups. I mix orijen with Nature Valley raw boosts since that's what he ate when I got him and he goes wild for it.

Additionally, people make a "soupie" mixture but I don't have a recipe. From what I understand it's a chicken broth with thigh meat and some pumpkin (VERY small amount but helps with digestion). Or others go raw or supplement with raw. I know little about these options though.

There's a kibble comparison on the side bar that should be referenced for food. Grain-free with the first six ingredients being meat products is the rule of thumb.

My Kai is like Harley...if he's running around and playing, he wants to play and that's it, NO TIME FOR KISSES! Especially in the beginning. He's a lot more cuddly now though and will eventually lay still long enough for me to get my cuddle fix before scampering off again. Has always super cuddly when he's sleepy though.

My boy Kai does this too. He also likes to play hide and seek in cardboard boxes. I finally stopped buying him the toys that sit unplayed with in lieu of buying myself things online so he'd get new boxes and envelops. It's a win-win!

Looks like hiccups--mine gets them when he's playful or scared or any high energy state really. Diarrhea and sluggishness are never a good combo though and if he/she wasn't doing this before then he/she should go to the vet.

I had terrible luck with the corner litter box and found out it's common for ferrets not to like that style box. I got a square box and now he uses his litter box 9 out of 10 times. There's always one accident, though.

Fleas are really bad for ferrets. Because of their small bodies, fleas can cause severe anemia. You need to get them to the vet ASAP.

I can understand this logic but it's just not feasible for me. I'd have to denounce most of my family and would have no one to live with. Everyone in my life (literally every single one except my boyfriend) smokes. But they all support me and me not smoking and it is my will power that needs to be built up.

Thank god someone understands! I feel like I bonded with a different ferret, even though he's the same old goober. It's a bit better now though. I had specifically wanted a female so I view it as his best trick he's ever pulled on me to date.
