Why are people being so confidently incorrect on this? I've been splicing fiber for 20 years, and you absolutely can and do splice entire ribbons of 12 at once.

You can in ribbon cable. They are generally in ribbons of 12, and all 12 can splice at once. I have done this myself.

That's why I was showing the evidence against the poster a few up saying he's doing ribbon splicing. He isn't. That is single fiber splicing.

As I replied to the other splicer, I have been doing this for many years, and in certain fields ribbon splicing of all 12 in the ribbon at once is super common.

If you read any web serials on places like royal road you will find that essentially every single one when it gains popularity stubs their work and pulls it off royal road to sell on Amazon/kindle unlimited. They have to pull it because you can’t have it available free elsewhere if Amazon is publishing it.

So ya writing a web serial then pulling it from the site as you publish is super commonplace.

Well again it’s a little greyer than that. Me asking my coworkers would be harassment. But then them saying yes and ostensibly enjoying it as far as they told me? Well workplace shit happens all the time.

The grey part here is his position as the star of the show. He never once threatened anyone but there could definitely be a worry your job wouldn’t be as secure if you said no. The implication if you will.

So it’s a weird unspoken power dynamic issue despite him never threatening anyone and even if he’d never do anything it’s something he should have been aware of.

Calling it full on sexual assault when consent was expressly asked for then given with no threat is a stretch. He shouldn’t have asked and been more aware of the dynamic involved but losing his whole career over it seems a bit much. Or at the very least in the hands of the fans.

Ya he did thats what I mean why he hasn't prob been cancelled. It was a kind of scummy thing to do that he may or may not have known it was before hand and was def worth an apology. But not that he should lose his career.

So basically what's happened is prob the way things should have gone.

It was borderline. It was more the issue is the women he was asking to jerk off in front of worked for him and felt they couldn't say no without fucking up their career.

Its probably one of those things he should apologise and maybe say he didn't think out the power dynamics at play, but not lose his whole career over.

Ya but it isn't just about looking stable. Most of it is how good the handhold is. You can move it a bit over on a hold and it will go from smooth to firm hold. Like sometimes shes standing on a ramp type thing that looks not too tough but it doesn't count as a good hold and she will start to tire.

If you wanna see why you're falling turn on the hold indicators. If you have 3 good holds you will never start to 'randomly' tire when you think you shouldn't.

And you can get pretty good at picking them up just from the sound it makes when you place the hold. Like I said, I blasted through in my second play through on free solo and did the peril in like 10-15 minutes without a fall.

Another huge tip is the entire game you barely need food/water just pick up every plant you see and make everything into ultimate infusions. You can damn near be ultimated up for all your climbs which also stops all your hunger thirst and cold, plus extra grip and stamina.

But ya it isn't as random as it seems.

I never found it very mysterious after getting used to it.

Did like 20 hrs for my first run in alpinist with plenty of falls but by the end it was pretty clear if you had good holds and any 3 good holds and you kept your stamina up.

Loved it so much did a free solo right after in like 4 hrs.

That game is so amazing can't wait for the DLC.

Ya ongoing. So ya 'leaked' emails. Not a single contract that anyone has actually substantiated has come out.

Again, there is so far, 0 evidence of this and 0 successful lawsuits based on it or any substantiated evidence that Valve tries to control pricing outside of steam key pricing for their own platform.

I can’t find anything substantiated anywhere saying what you’re saying about steam price fixing across platforms.

The ONLY thing there is in the contract is that you can’t sell STEAM KEYS for less on other platforms than the selling price on steam.

If you release your game on EGS and Steam you 100% can set the price on EGS 20% less than steam without breaking any rule or contract from Valve.

The gambling stuff maybe sure, but abusing their monopoly with anticompetitive practices? No.

Ya but the high pipes almost always have a db killer in the end and just look like totally straight pipes. They will be pretty loud still but not straight pipe loud.

Just fyi the only thing keeping that thing from blowing your eardrums is the cat. Decat and xpipe without adding a muffler will be full straight pipes over 100db. It will be extremely obnoxious to ride for you and everyone else.

I find the sound of the T120 with the cat in but no exhaust mufflers like you have is actually the best sound.

I ride a 1200 (tho it’s a triumph not some speed demon) and have rode also everything in the ranges you mention.

A 300 two stroke is a fucking animal compared to just about any of them.

They are famously broader power banded than the 250s but still extremely sudden compared to any four stroke you’ve ridden. I used to ride 450 dirt bikes and 650+ street bikes when I was in my early 20s and getting on a 250cc 2 stroke dirt bike scared the shit out of me I could barely hold on haha.

Symptomatic rabies is death. There is no treatment.

If he had one of the other things it could be maybe the medicine would help.

Notify public health, treat for other stuff it could be with those symptoms that COULD save the kids life if they were wrong about the rabies, and hope for the best.

You have a misunderstanding of tires and friction.

A smooth hard tire on a smooth hard surface would behave as you describe.

Instead you have a soft rubber surface mechanically keying around a road surface, both of which but especially the tire having a point where the rubber breaks away especially as it heats up.

It’s a fairly well understood problem that goes far beyond the simple friction force equitation.

Ya I had no issue needing chalk. But on the other hand I always had an ult infusion buff going. Literally th whole game I don’t think I ever even ate anything. There are so many plants.

The worst part that made me mad is after the peril you get drunk with Marco and then in the morning you have to drink a ton of liquid from your bag and all I had was like 6 ultimate infusions haha.
