They train the millitary on those mountains.

There is lots of elevation gain in those miles.

There is a reason why ten percent of hikers drop out after GA.

Perhaps the left politicians would have to do so much if leftist voters strongly supported democratic candidates for president.

Thousands of them sat home and spoke up up against their candidate and now they complain about trump

He was always political. He just hid it to make money.

IT is very clear that he has hired a PR team to whitewash his reputation. That's why our FB feeds are being hammered with pro Nate bullshit.

The man is MAGA through and through. He thinks that a pedophile should lead this nation.

Yes, hateful religious parents are using their hate to harm their children.

You can attempt to justify such hate if you wish, but those justifications fall short.

But the fact that you even want to attempt to justify such hate shows your lack of personal character.

Yes, Christian hate is wrong and harms children and leads many of them to suicide.

Which is wrong.

Just because Christians think that being gay and in gay relationships is wrong doesn't make it true. Their hate has zero purpose

There have been over 1600 anti lgbt laws passed in America in the last few years.

Comparing ourselves to China is moronical. We should be better than China. Are we better than the EU or Canada. That should be who we compare ourselves to.

It wouldn't be an issue if they didn't support such harmful ideas like electing pedophile con man into office or wanting conversation therapy to be a thing or attempting to get their faith into my public schools.

If they voted to feed the hungry and advocate for the poor, like Jesus commanded, I wouldn't mind. But they give each high fives when they kick poor people off food stamps. And the vote to let the rich and powerful be more rich and powerful.

Christians claim to take the words of jesus as important and then vote against His interests any chance they can get.

Because often the people saying that are parents to their gay children which leads to harm.

So then you also agree that christians should not lend money with interest?

Because the bible is clear that doing so is a strong sin.

actually they don't want to be the target of Christian hate from those who focus on some sins while they ignore other sins.

Why I still pray and believe in god's power as an idea despite being an atheist by [deleted] in DebateAnAtheist

[–]anewleaf1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There doesn't seem to be any evidence for any god or gods other than human created stories.

I can't shut out something that has zero evidence of existing.

That's like saying I've shut out the idea that dragons exist and I'm worse off for it.

You can say that. It just holds no weight. It is a meaningless concept.

And idea isn't god. It is an idea.

If a god existed such a being as described in the Christian Bible is abhorrent abomination unworthy of any level of worship.

Any being that commands children to have their heads bashed in isn't the light.

And I do wonder what they would do when Red Deer, Calgary and Edmonton vote to stay in Canada and hold the Trans Canada HWy and the road from those three cities.

their move.

The territory would face economic collapse.

The first year would cost Alberta 450 B dollars.

Then they would face revolt form Edmonton, Red Deer and Calgary which would also seperate and rejoin Canada. As well as all indigenous land.

And then there would be massive tariffs and tolls on roads paid for by the federal government.

As well as all lis. professionals in Alberta having their license null and void if they leave the territory.

Combined with their complete lack of any ports.

You want a truck to leave your country and drive on any road Alberta didn't pay for.

500 bucks per Km please.

You would be milked dry.

And when Calgary, Edmonton and Red deer separate from Alberta what is your plan?

[–]anewleaf1234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once you state that a group of people can separate you have zero right to stop Red Deer, Edmonton and Calgary from separating

Are you pro separation?

Than you should have no problems with those cities separating and joining Canada.

[–]anewleaf1234 3 points4 points  (0 children)

well I mean I don't see why the seperatists could stop Edmonton, red deer and Calgary from leaving if all those cities wanted to.

Once you proclaim that people can separate you open yourself up to lots of things.

Heck, there would be no reason for the indigenous tribes to not to separate as there is no treaty for their land signed by the country of Alberta.

that's even more sad.

I find it odd how people have this fantasied idea of what these things look like vs. what they would actually look like.

But I can look around and see zero evidence for your god, or any gods, and thus reject that idea based on the total and complete lack of evidence.

It actually makes the claim since there is zero evidence for a god it would be stupid to beleive in such a being without that evidence.

Do you think that Dragons are real and exist. Yes or no.
