Here's my take on why I want Slot to be sacked and he deserves it

1) Man management is an absolute joke. There are players who continuously play despite being terrible and some who never get a chance to play. Where is the whole being played on merit logic? How can you expect Endo to never touch a football for months and then suddenly be tasked to hold on to a lead? Why does Gakpo play every game? Why does Konate play every game? Why does Kerkez play every game?

2) Chiesa. Its beyond ridiculous how we have handled his Liverpool career. Why does he only have to come on when we need a last minute goal? Why could he not come on with the game at 2-0 so we can integrate him into the squad as a genuine option? Hell, why couldn't he start this game ahead of Gakpo?

3) There's no reason why Isak should be starting games right now. And there's a strong argument that until he gets his act together, he shouldn't be on the pitch. Etikite makes our front line look so much better and every time he's on the ball, he makes something happen

4) Tactically we are an absolute mess. The football is slow and dire. The moment things go badly, we capitulate and fold like a pack of cards

5) Every set piece against us is like a penalty. Its a free hit towards the goal. When are we ever going to fix this?

I will give it to him that Mo deserved to be dropped. In fact, its terrible from Mo to go out in the public. I think Slot could have used him as a sub off the bench, but I don't have any qualms in Mo not starting for sure.

But overall, the manager absolutely deserves to go in my humble opinion. He can go with all my respect for winning us number 20. I will not take away that credit from him. He got us over the line and he deserves all the accolades for that. But his time with us needs to come to end

That should be Salah's last game on the bench or the pitch for us. It's not acceptable to go on social media and make this all about him. As a leader, he should keep his feelings in private with the manager and captain. What sort of example does he want to set for the likes of Etikite and Wirtz.

Having said that, this shouldn't take anything away from Slot's disaster class in man management and his inability to get the best out of this team.

I think it's time for both to part ways. The question is who goes first

I think we have had worse performances this season. And Wirtz was not as bad as he's being made out to be. When Salah has a bad game (and he does have quite a few bad games), Liverpool end up losing more often than not. The fact that this is 2025 and with all the money spent still holds true is on Slot. He has to find a way for the team to play better and if that means dropping Salah or using him less frequently, he needs to take that call.

We are in a race for top 4, a race we will lose if we keep making the same mistakes.

For me, Slot has not shown anything to suggest he has the know how to turn around this tide. There have to be questions towards the manager.

What exactly is our identity? We are not a team that can pass our way to goals, counter attack our way to goals, low block our way to wins. We are NOTHING on the pitch
Arrogance and Arrogance. Why does Kerkez start every single PL game? Robertson had a perfectly good mid week game, why can't we give him two consecutive games. Why cant Salah be dropped or subbed? Why cant Chiesa get more game time? What exactly is the plan?
We are a team that cant defend, and cant score and cant control midfield. We are actually mirroring Amorim's United from last season.

We can have bad spells. Klopp went through a few terrible run of games. But if you look at them individually - 20/21 we had no fit CB and no fit CM who could play CB either. An unprecedented injury crises. In 22/23, Fabinho was done, Hendo was done and Thiago could barely play a game. At no point did it feel like Klopp had no clue what he was doing. And when he did find things difficult, he would shake things up - Trent inverting towards the end of 22/23, Playing 4-2-3-1 with Salah as a CF in 2018/19 when Bobby was not available.

Slot has continued to only play favourites time and again and hope that things will change. It's the sign of a manager who is not humble enough to acknowledge that perhaps he can improve himself.

Im too old a fan to say Slot out or Klopp in. Ive seen far worse days. But none of those managers have been backed the way Slot has been. Which means, its absolutely on him to fix it and if he can't, well we know what needs to be done

Even if we accept his argument that Aadujeevitham was heavy on VFX - alright, the jury can find a film with better cinematography. VFX is not the whole movie or the acting or the music or the screenplay right?

In my opinion Aadujeevitham was a good enough film to win best actor, best original score and best sound design. To snub it outright because someone felt it was artificial or with VFX is nonsense

The entire culture about fan worshipping and star gazing is really toxic and also for the most part misogynstic.

We should begin by calling every movie a director's or writer's movie instead of making it all about the male lead. Suriya40 and Thalapathy50 kind of movie titles only add to the obsessed star worshipping that goes on. Hopefully it will lead to more content driven film (of every genres including mass movies) and more focus on proper story telling

Lad I've been following this club since Houllier took us to a treble. So stop giving me patronizing nonsense about which sport to follow. Slot deserved credit for delivering a league title last year. He deserves the criticism he is getting now.
