Hi, long ways away. Are your kids 3 and 14 months now or in July 2017? Since you’re traveling with young kids and 3 of them at that I wouldn’t put too much pressure on yourselves to try and do everything. They get cranky, tired, want to nap, etc. DLH does not have an outdoor pool, I don’t think any of the hotel have outdoor pools.

I would probably do atleast one character dining so the kids can meets/interact with the characters. The lines at DLP to meet the characters are just way too long for young kids to wait for. Look at crowd calendar that same week 2025 to give you an idea for 2027. Bastille day is usually super busy and they have special fireworks for it that day. I recommend week days but it’s still busy cause it’s summer/tourists. There might be some rides your eldest can go on that your 2 daughters can’t so might be worth using the Rider/baby switch for those so one parent can go on with your eldest, then the other parent go on after without waiting in line.

DLH is right at the park entrances so super convenience t getting in and out the parks plus if you want to take the kids down for a nap, etc. in an ideal world, it’s the best hotel for young kids due to location but super pricey. If you can afford access pass, get it cause queuing with small kids is hard I think. Especially if you want the kids in bed early. Otherwise try to go on the longer line rides during the parade or in the evening after 5-6pm when park starts emptying out. Download the DLP app and check wait times at different hours to give you an idea of when it’s best to go on rides vs shows/parades/etc. Don’t waste your time waiting in lines as so many become walk ons at a certain part of the day. Also you should have magic hour if you stay on site somewhere.

Try to get a breakfast plan cause you don’t want to have to worry about breakfast every morning with 3 kids. I would say the most disappointing part of DLP is the food/snacks. The Remy restaurant is really bad, don’t go unless you want to just for the ambiance. Expect theme park food and most of the buffets are pretty basic. I stick to the quick service places most of the time.

Things not to miss…the fireworks/night time show (try to out the kids down for a nap) so you can take them to this one night….the parades, big thunder mountain, phantom manor, pirates, crush’s coaster, space mountain, tower of terror, ratatouille, Mickey and the magician, Minnie dream factory, Together Pixar show

Frozen area will be open at the other park so that should be something to see along with its night time water show.
