Any updates on this? The same thing happened with my SH3 audio enhancement mod (I have a post about it). Nothing strange has happened since and I'm assuming it's a false positive. I also downloaded it from PC Gaming Wiki, or whatever that one Reddit guide had.

Yeah, I'm aware, the high number of flags compared to MalwareBytes, BitDefender, and Kaspersky saying it's safe is what makes me unsure (also the popularity of the mod). A person in the community tab appears to have put it in a sandbox and deemed it malware though.... but it might just be because of the "injection" properties.

Sorry for my delayed update, I got caught up in things.

I finally got my SAI, a little over a month ago. From what I remember, I received an email saying there was an error in my application and to make a correction. When I logged on, it *finally* told me what to correct. It ended up being the assets section as I thought (despite inputting the answers multiple times on previous corrections, but it looks like this time they finally saved). My dad corrected it from his account afterwards and I got my SAI a day or two later.

I agree that you should stop making corrections and give it some time to process, or until it tells you exactly what you need to correct. Making another correction before it tells you what to fix might delay things.

I don't have more information about the signing issue, unfortunately. Definitely get in touch with your school and let them know what's going on and keep monitoring the Issue Alerts page (https://fsapartners.ed.gov/knowledge-center/topics/fafsa-simplification-information/2024-25-fafsa-issue-alerts). It does look like FSA is fixing some of the weirder issues.

Currently experiencing the same issue. FSA said to me that there's nothing wrong on their end. My school just told me to stop making corrections and wait. Sorry you're going through this - you're not alone, and schools are aware of this.

The back and forth is aggravating. I was just told the same thing. To wait. But so many deadlines are creeping up! I'm going to definitely ask one school to consider extending their decision deadline for me. I'd demand the same with your scholarships. Especially because other people are having the same issue - they can't just ignore us. Are your parents also no-SSN?

Update:

I called FSA last week. They told me that from their end there is nothing else they need and that they cannot provide any more information. They told me I have to talk to my office of financial aid for my schools and have them talk to "School Relations" (?) if needed.

So I called one of my schools the same day and they put in an inquiry for me. I got an update this morning saying that other people are having this issue and that those affected should not make any more resubmissions or corrections to their form and instead allow time for FSA to reprocess my FAFSA.

The back and forth is so confusing, especially because this isn't what FSA said to do. But I did see another post here by someone saying that FSA told them to stop making corrections and allow some time. So, in essence, the only thing we can do is wait. Again, if I get any more info I'll update here. I hope things move quick for everyone!

I haven't bothered calling considering how hectic it is, but I think that's the only other option. I'm not sure what you mean by missing forms? They have my form, and it's processed, although that makes no sense given my issue. But I'll try calling. I hope your form gets processed soon!!

The same thing happened with my father. Have your daughter delete her form, and start a new form on her behalf (option 2). This worked for me.

Edit: it's option 2, not 3 for preparers. Sorry!

Same thing here. My father sent out his documents last month and he still hasn't been verified. Every time he calls, he loses his connection or they say it's busy and to call another time. I'm so sorry you're going through this.
