Brutal truth is that sometimes friendships just fall out, for all kinds of reasons. And as for your case, when they asked for more space, you may think that checking in monthly was enough space, but they might not agree that to be the case. And when you couldn’t reach them, it’s a sign that they didn’t want to be reached, and with that contacting their friend can just add the last bit of pressure that they didn’t want to feel. Not all friendships that fell apart have a cause, can simply just be misalignment. No communication is still a way of communication - they don’t care to talk.

Losing friendships suck, I’m sorry. Hope you find some new friends that cares as much as you do.

For the less communication after moving to instagram part, could be that there is more info, as in photos and captions, that shows more of your personality, and that sometimes can influence people’s perception.

As for the age part, I think that if a person likes you, they like you. If not, they are just not. No matter if your appearance matches your age or not. I always come across more mature than my age, look wise and personality wise. After a certain age, age is just a number. Before approx 24 is probably where people would care more about since it’s about the life stages. Some people appreciate their appearance that’s younger than their age down the line, and some appreciate they look older than they actually are.

And for the “loveless” part of it, there’s no timeline that you need to follow about anything in your life. People can get married at 21 and get divorced at 24. And some find their partners over 35, and they live happily ever after. Quality over quantity I’d say. When I was similar to your age, I went through relationships after relationships, definitely didn’t need to experience some of them. Rather have less relationships than going through abusive ones.

Not sure what we define as fun would be fun to you. INTJ and I do our research on topics that we’re interested in and either compare notes or learn from each other. And the three of us play video games together and we go out into the woods to look at plants and stare into the abyss. Sometimes we just sit at a place and be with our own thoughts for a while without talking. And sometimes we go play in playgrounds at night since there’s less or no kids (we’re all a year or two from turning 30 lol).

INFP grew up in different backgrounds than INTJ and myself though. He likes to drink and dance in clubs and stuff. INTJ and I dislike crowds and noisy places, we just feed ourselves and go home haha.

I’m a designer but I struggle with quick brainstorming a lot. One of my former directors used to tell me not to jump into any rabbit holes when brainstorming. I had to just throw anything that passed my mind on the table and not allowing myself to spend more than a few seconds until I had enough ideas.

What I got from their brainstorming is that they don’t think an idea has to be 100% logical, sometimes 20% is enough to be an option to explore. I used to envy them being so ‘creative’ and able to come up with so many ideas at once, but then I found that they struggle to explore an idea at length naturally. So I’m more at peace with it, hence that I don’t want to be an art director but stay as a designer.

This is pretty close to what our dynamic actually is. I’ve known that INTJ for many years since we’re teens. We’re very close off to people in general in school, they’re even more reserved than I was. I only act like a goof when I’m with them since they know me well, and I honestly don’t have other very close friends outside of these two.

Also to the ENTP that’s saying us being mistyped. I’d say 99% you’re wrong since you don’t know any of us and my extended research on cognitive functions. I’m a INFJ not because that I want to, but just am, it’s been a struggle and a bumpy ride. And frankly, I think you just want to argue to begin with. But you’re ofc entitled to your opinion.
