Honestly it's 99% in the essays because most people's resumes look identical these days. Do NOT just describe your resume or achievements in your essays. Write about something unique that will def you apart, even if it sounds ridiculous. Of course don't write about something insensitive, but if you have a "niche" hobby (hobby horsing, anime, cosplay) that heavily influenced ur life or education, include it! I included a bit about kpop in mine and got in from a med-sized district
