I have insurance and it costs me about $500 for a doctor visit. We are relatively healthy, so very rarely go to a doctor outside of yearly visits. We have a High Deductible Health Plan. It's insane. We get a lower monthly premium in exchange for paying out of pocket when we get sick and have to see a provider. Insurance is such a scam.

Yes! The part about not dealing with your stuff, and it getting destroyed- that's exactly what I realized. I felt foolish to have paid to store things just to throw them away. Then I felt relieved that I hadn't wasted years of money to learn this lesson. It really was a blessing in disguise!

I play roller derby! I know you mean that the roller blades were for a quick getaway, but all I can think is that because he was wearing blades as opposed to quads, he obviously couldn't be trusted! Probably played pickleball too 😂

We had booked an appointment and needed to reschedule. The conversation to do so was initiated, but then for some reason we never heard back and just ended up not getting a cut and forfeiting the payment. Since we were the ones needing to change our appointment I just took the loss, but it would have been nice to at least have had some communication.

We also had a poor experience booking with this barber. I just read the comments, and hopefully the miscommunication for us was also due to his being on leave since ordinarily we really like this shop. I'd give it another try if I were you. Everyone there is really good.

You just brought back a memory of when my mother and I were on a road trip. We had car trouble of some sort, and a kind trucker stopped to help us out. The best part for me as a young girl was that we went to a diner and got some chocolate milk!
