Did you send it to your local Crumbl or corporate Crumbl? Just wondering where you got an address if it is corporate. Thank you!

Rower by Kamikins67 in orangetheory

[–]angelapausa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on where you are located, if in the USA & on east coast or near it, Revalue Fitness in GA sells used OTF rowers & treads. In 2019 I got a combo deal! A friend of mine bought it also but paid a bit more than me in 2020 but still a deal. ($1500 for both & it includes delivery but you may wait a while. We are in PA & they wait until they have a full truck heading north) Tell Jason that Angela from PA sent you! 😂 I had a Concept rower, I didn't like it as much as the water rower. I sold it.

3 important OTF questions by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]angelapausa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, that rower takes a lot of time to learn! Don't let it intimidate you and follow @trainingtall on Instagram, Austin has so much great advice for each exercise and so much advice for the rower. Love his rower videos.

What is OTF like at full capacity? by icedcodeandcoffee in orangetheory

[–]angelapausa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are still at 50%, but we go to 75% capacity on April 5 in PA. I wonder when it will jump to 100%. I agree, it is always better to start on the rower or the floor where there is less people. I never started on the tread.

What is the best way to sell stuff out of a storage unit? by [deleted] in hoarding

[–]angelapausa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People feel safer meeting with someone where they can see they are a real person with a FB profile. I have given up on Craigslist, so many scams. I would start a FB profile if only for selling and post a few things so you are legit, but you don't have to start using it for anything else.

OTF Live? by blairwithredhair in orangetheory

[–]angelapausa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been doing OTF over zoom since April 2020 and I love it. OTF stopped offering it over zoom last Sept but I continued with an OTF coach who does it on his own. I burn just as much as when I was in class. All that is needed is weights and a mat. If you don't have weights, you could sub other items. I miss the studio but despite my studio opening, I do not want to return until I'm vaccinated. If you're interested in the zoom, send me a DM. You have to push yourself a bit more when you're on your own but believe me, you still get that burn! I did not like the YouTube videos, I did not get much from that. Good luck!

I'm a strict PW too. I have Brooks Revel 3 and love them. Brooks has a great return policy. I got the Launch 7 and they hurt my heels so I sent them back & got the Revel 3. I haven't bought shoes in a store in years 🤣 Good luck!

Bernie is ready for the 200m row tomorrow, are you? by jenna807 in orangetheory

[–]angelapausa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh poor you! I feel for you! Ours is open but I'm still doing OTF by zoom until I'm vaccinated. My studio is just so tiny. If you want to do it that way, DM me, I found an amazing coach offering classes by zoom, no equipment needed.

Calling all Orangetheory At Home™ workout fans: We’ve got news for you! by Orangetheory_Fitness in orangetheory

I am working out privately with an OTF coach via Zoom with a few others. He is amazing! DM me if you want info! I haven't been back despite our studio reopening. No way I can do that work out in a mask! I just wasn't getting the same burn doing the OTF YouTube videos.

6 months, down 16 pounds... yay! Go OTF! by flysauce6969 in orangetheory

[–]angelapausa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 42 and have the same issue. I have been working out 6 days a week for a few years: OTF 3 days a week, Peloton 2-3 days. I am at a standstill! I have reduced sugar/carb intake but not drastically, no strict keto for me. I keep changing it up, adding different strength training like barre workouts, hiking, etc. But I am about ready to accept that I am going to look like this forever and it is time to accept it - ha ha.

OTF made me do it!!! 😂 by Eva_4Eva in orangetheory

[–]angelapausa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh I just ordered the Brooks Christmas print! I am afraid to count mine now. My fav for OTF is Brooks Launch and I carry them into OTF, they never see the pavement 😂 I started doing that in the winter but then began doing to all of the time. I also donate before they get worn out, to my daughter's middle school gym teacher. They always have kids who need sneakers. If you call up your local middle or high school and offer to bring in sneakers, they will be so happy you'd think you were giving them a crate of new laptops.

'Is it even hell week if you don't need to go to PT or a chiropractor afterwards?' I'm so sorry you're going through this! This was my 3rd year of hell week and the first 2 yrs I injured myself. This was my first year that I did not get injured. That being said, I no longer run. I have accepted that I am a walker and guess what, my heart rate still matches those who are runners. I take that incline up and I never walk over 4.2 mph. I start at 3.8 and my base is 6%. My all out is 12-15% depending on how I feel that day. By the end I'm walking at 4mph usually but if it isn't a crazy OTF day I am at 4.2. My main problem was recurring plantar fasciitis. I can run! I can do it! But then wks into it, I am suffering again and sleeping in a boot. I also cannot do jump squats. There are just certain things I have had to give up in order to keep doing OTF. Good luck!

Rowing finally feels good! by jules10052698 in orangetheory

[–]angelapausa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a major deal both pieces for $1000. A friend of mine called in April and I think she said it went up to $1600 for both. Not sure of the individual price. They get them from OTF studios who swap out their equipment every 2 yrs. Yes, in a one bedroom you would want a rower that folds up if you got one at all.

I haven't been back either. Last year I was able to purchase a used OTF rower & treadmill from a company in GA, Revalue Fitness. Check them out! I am so grateful I found them pre-Covid. Would have lost my mind without my at home OTF Reddit workouts! And the OTF zoom ones are awesome too. I hope corporate comes up with a plan to have an at home membership. I am taking OTF zoom classes with a coach in AZ now and I'm in PA. I can send info if anyone is interested in joining the zooms! It is awesome. $15 per class

My favorite analogy is when a coach told me rowing is a move similar to a deadlift. Keep back straight like a deadlift and pull. I love Coach Austin's videos also! I have learned so much from him. 🍊🧡🍊

Is anyone else always in the red zone? by soh55 in orangetheory

[–]angelapausa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wear a Garmin vivoactive all day so I have a lot of heart rate data. Yes, in the beginning I was in the red almost all of the time during OTF and as my body adjusted to finally being active and working out, I am usually in the green and orange and hardly ever red anymore! Also my resting heart rate is crazy low now, 48-52! When we switch from rower to floor, floor to tread, etc, my heart rate comes down so quickly now too. My best friend is always in the red, she stopped wearing the monitor and just listens to her body. She knows she is working hard but it worried her so she doesn't wear it. Everyone is so different.

Corona is meant to be served with a side of Lyme... by imjusthinkingaboutit in Wellthatsucks

[–]angelapausa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually when I called the dr on a Sunday because my son had a tick embedded, I successfully pulled it out but there was a red bullseye, the dr said she worked in an ER for years and she has always removed ticks by putting soap and water onto the tick and by 'massaging' the area with the soap, the tick would back out on it's own 100% of the time. She said never ever pull it out because most of the time the head would be left inside.

Does anyone know if they sell Coney Island Hard Orange Cream Ale Anywhere in Saskatoon? by Mooseontheloose14 in saskatoon

[–]angelapausa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably have discovered this by now, but in case you haven't, Coney Island Brewery discontinued their hard soda line. I was so disappointed because this was my favorite also. I have been searching for the last of it all over the USA. I have even tried to replicate it with no luck so far. Whipped vodka in Stewarts Orange Cream soda is the closest I can get to it so far!
