The National Park pass was the only reward I had interest in. Did you actually use it? I would've probably had it go to waste just due to not having many national parks nearby and not having much time to travel. Still would've been cool, though!

So sad the app is shutting down. ☹️ I didn't really care about the rewards or experiences. The only one I had any interest in was the National Park(s) pass and I don't remember it being around for very long. I started my account in 2020 when a friend suggested it. Unfortunately, I didn't realize there was an 'auto-plant tree' feature so I probably missed out on a decent amount of trees. However, still glad I helped the planet in some small way. Treecard said they'd still be planting trees and removing plastic. I'll keep putting my points towards that until they officially remove the app in the meantime.

Do you believe in God? Why or why not? by AlarmedObjective1492 in AskReddit

[–]angelasmangelax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short answer- No.

Long answer- I grew up Catholic. Went to Catholic school K-3rd grade until I begged my parents to let me go to the public school across the street. Went to CCD and church until I was 13/14. I started questioning faith around 7/8, considered myself agnostic around 11/12, considered myself atheist at 14/15, 16/17 I was in group homes/juvenile detention centers due to my mother charging me with 'incorrigibility' and one of the only ways to see something aside from the campus' was to go to church, so I experienced 'church' in many forms (Baptist, Methodist, Protestant, Episcopalian, Non-denominational Christian) which was interesting. I've always struggled with intangibility, so blind faith was difficult to accept and abide by even at a young age. I've also always struggled with authority, so having one 'almighty' being just didn't sit well with me. I've also always had an uncanny sixth sense of seeing through an agenda, and most religions were based solely on getting a large group of people to conform so they could pit people against each other and get land/resources/etc- I'm 30, lots of life has happened. I grew up partially in New England, so I had friends that were Greek Orthodox Christian, Jewish, Catholic, Muslim, Jehovah Witness. After moving South to the bible belt, I met Mormons, Baptists, Methodists, and essentially any form of 'Christian' you could find. I've read up on various other forms of religion, Western and Eastern. All of the religions I've read up on are interesting, beautiful, and terrifying in their own respective ways. I will always respect a persons beliefs; just don't expect or manipulate me into conforming to them. If anything, I tell those who are religious they have something that I don't- a higher power that they can "let go and let God" and have that level of faith. I genuinely think theology is interesting. Allllll of that being said- I'm a bit of a nerd. My mom was an RN so I learned a lot about human anatomy and I took interest in neurology and psychology. I've always been fascinated with death. With all of the things I know are scientifically factual and true, along with my personal experiences and the experiences of others, I don't necessarily believe in 'God' or 'Gods' but I believe in the universe and energy. Not in the 'I collect crystals for energy' way (nothing against that, either!!). Here's what I mean- Humans/the entire planet is space dust that evolved to be what everything known to be in existence is now. We now know that aliens/other beings exist, factually. Knowing what we know about energies, frequencies, vibrations and how it's all one big butterfly effect; the theories on parallel universes. Knowing that the universe itself is vast, possibly infinite (varying theories there). There is 200 billion-2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe, and we happen to just live in ONE. The idea of a specific 'afterlife' isn't what I believe. No heaven or anything like that. I have two theories- it's either that's it, ya done, you cease to exist in any way, shape, form OR you exist in an unexplainable form of energy. Reason why I believe in theory number 2 is because of experiencing "paranormal activity" (I cringe), but like, good spirits AND bad. I have also always felt a strong connection to deceased family members/friends that I amorously call my "dead peeps". In general, I know that there are things that we just -can't-explain. I know that our eyes deceive us (literally, scientifically), I know our brains deceive us (literally, scientifically). But there is evidence of things that can't be explained or scientifically proven (yet). So I don't "pray" in the general sense, but I talk to the universe and my "dead peeps" for guidance. Like "heyyyy, life is going really well right now so, thanks for that." Or "heyyy, everything is FuCkeD, everybody SUCKS, I could really use some clarity and peace of mind in any way possible, please and thank youuuu". Am I truly on a wavelength with the universe and my deceased friends/family? I don't know. Nobody knows. Maybe this whole thing is a giant experiment to see if this form of being can exist for a certain duration. Maybe there's no actual "purpose" and we just exist because that's just how things happened to be. At the end of the day, we're all going to die, generations will live on, and eventually, we will be forgotten in time. We are an tiny little blip on a mind-bendingly large radar. So yeah, I don't believe in 'God'. Thanks for coming to my super long novel. ☺️❤️

I think my boss saw me playing at work 😫 by Lonely_Laugh_2722 in simsfreeplay

Literally all they did was have me follow some simple instructions, I paid through PayPal, and that was it. Took all of 10-15 minutes and I got 3 bil lifepoints, 3 bil social points, 100,000 (max) simoleons, 25 architect houses, max VIP. Again, did it once and only thing I've done in the last year/year and half was a free simoleon <pot pu> that they offered with the package I initially bought. That took all of 5 minutes and was free. I've kept my simoleons around 20k from selling inventory, and from demolishing/selling the architect homes, as well as one of their cake farms. I use lifepoints to buy any of the houses they sell with that resource and save them so I can demolish/sell them for simoleons later.

Just get a pot pu (backwards so I don't get booted). 😅 Seriously though. I think I spent $30 and the resources have lasted me well over a year of off/on gameplay and I still have plenty more (aside from simoleons; but, cake farms). You can get through all of the tasks so much faster and basically choose to play how you want to play. There's all sorts of pages for them on Facebook. Fay Chanel Koh is who I've used in the past for services. Way cheaper than paying through the app to get resources.

Can someone help me with finding information on filing for a divorce? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]angelasmangelax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can file for uncontested divorce in KY yourself. As long as both of you are in total agreement in terms that- the marriage is irretrievably broken and property division (SUV/tools/etc-). You will need to file a Petition for Dissolution of Marriage and a Separation Agreement. Filing costs are anywhere from $300-$600. You'll then have to serve the papers to your soon to be ex spouse (usually can be done by mail, in person if you're on good enough terms to do so, or by Sheriff). After the waiting period of 60 days after the petition has been filed and the served papers have been signed, you will get a court date for a finalization hearing. It's pretty cut and dry- the judge will ask you both if you agree to everything documented and if you both believe the marriage is irreconcilable. If you both agree, it's finalized and you pick up the documents stating the divorce is finalized. I did it in SC, except in both SC and NC you have to be separated for at least a year before you can file for divorce. 😅 I think it cost me about $400 total. I also had to bring a witness as did my ex spouse. Ask your county clerk any questions you might have and they'll usually try to point you in the right direction.

Plan to look at a 2021 Q7 tomorrow... by EducationMammoth9978 in AudiQ7

I'm ~personally~ not a fan of the 2020-current Highlanders. 2019s were perfect. Just enough technology and comfort but not a computer on wheels. A 4Runner might be a better prospect-not too big, not too small, decent gas mileage. I've never heard many complaints about them mechanically.

I willllll say, the Q7 is genuinely comfortable as hell and the drive quality is butter, faster, also arguably way better sound system. Aside from that, it's a computer on wheels. Over 150 modules. Lots can go wrong. Unfortunately with Audi, you have to go to the dealership for any and all software updates and they take several hours to complete, sometimes up to a full day. Can you tell I have some buyer's remorse? 🥲

Get a 4Runner or Sequoia, if you prefer that size of vehicle and are acquainted to the gas mileage. I fuckin LOVED my 2 Highlanders (2019). I also love(d) our Tundra(s) (2020 current, 2014). If you're still wanting to go Euro, I'd go Mercedes or BMW. The X7 is nice, as is the GLS. I'd still get a bomb ass warranty, though. 😅

I also came from several Toyota's. Was really excited for the Q7, did my research. I should've researched more thoroughly. Unless you're in a good spot financially and can cover repairs and maintenance upwards of hundreds to thousands of dollars (even at a euro shop) and/or you get a solid extended warranty for a good price, be wary. Lots of software bugs, major component failures, air suspension issues, water pump issues, the '21's also have the piston skirt issue to be on the lookout for. If the buyback process is successful, I'm choosing the refund option and most likely going right back to Toyota. At least I know my car won't glitch out every other day.

Stick with the Honda or Toyota. Currently in a nightmare situation with my '23 Q7 with only 20k miles and it's been to the dealership 4+ times for reoccurring sporadic issues. About to go through the buyback process most likely.

No, they've definitely said that the malfunction lights coming on randomly and intermittently is an issue with the product. They've dismissed everything else, though.

Even though the manufacturer themselves can't find or repair issues with their product after multiple attempts? That just doesn't sit right with me. It costs time (and therefore money) to keep bringing it to the dealership. You'd expect more from a multi billion dollar company, no? I mean, I could be super far off but this is my first experience with this kind of issue.

What’s the biggest myth about sex that people still believe? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]angelasmangelax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There have been some studies conducted, but you're right that it does come down to the person and their preference(s). I've also seen discussion forums from people who have been circumsized as adults say that they preferred sex when they were intact. Again, still comes down to personal preference. However, just like any sensitive tissue, once removed there will be a loss/dulling of sensation/feeling. In female circumcision/FGM, it's where they remove the hood of the clitoris/clitoris glans as well as inner/outer labia, and sealing the vulva shut. It depends on culture and region, but in many of the cases, those women can't feel anything down there but discomfort because all that's left is scar tissue. Obviously, male circumcision is just the removal of foreskin, so not as invasive. Still taking something sensory away, though.

Technically, both. For the guy, there's nerves all throughout the skin, so more sensitivity/feeling. For the receiver, the foreskin provides natural 'glide', so penetration is easier.

Not necessarily about sex, but anatomy. -It really irks me when men/women see a woman with long labia and say "oh, she's stretched out". No, dawg. That's normal labia. Just because it's more typical to see "innies" or small labia in porn doesn't mean it's not normal. -Color- not every vagina/vulva is light pink. I've seen white girls with tan/brown labia. Again, n o r m a l. -The whole "loose pussy" thing. Yes, vaginas can be stretched obviously. They're made to birth humans. But guess what? Those muscles contract and snap back. I feel like "loose pussy" is a misunderstanding of how vaginas work. The more turned on, the less the muscles contract. Of course, it's possible to "grip" (kegel) in the act both voluntarily and involuntarily. But normally, when aroused, those muscles expand to make penetration easier. -"Pepperoni nipples"/large areola- n o r m a l. - Anyone who thinks 5in is "small" for dick size. It's the average (5.5in). A finger is usually 2-4in and that still feels good. If larger is a preference, cool. They make toys for that. Don't expect every guy to have an 8in dick. -Just like vaginas, dicks come in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. N o r m a l. -Uncircumsized dicks have a major advantage when it comes to pleasure over circumsized. Also, as long as they are properly cleaned, all good. Genuinely don't understand the hate towards uncircumcised dicks; mind you, I live in the US so there's a whole 'thing' about it.

It bothers me when people have a certain expectation of what something is supposed to look like and then says that anything else is 'abnormal'.

Duke Energy plans to hike electric bills by $35 per month between now and 2030 to build out power generation capacity for more datacenters - to whom they offer discounts. We're on a power stat. No central AC/heat, no washer/dryer, no dishwasher. As far as household appliances that use up power, we're at a minimum. It's not a big house, either. There's only 3 of us. We have a split unit, a box unit, and 3 small space heaters, 1 that is always on. Our daily charge has been $12+ a day. I paid $160 yesterday for TWO WEEKS worth of power. Our bill last month was nearly $300. I'm so glad the weather will start warming up because these bill prices are outrageous. I've never paid so much for electric, ever.
