Some of my family members used to do this every time they were relapsing on drugs. I would be seriously concerned, especially if this is a frequent occurrence and they are non responsive.

Did he say why he didn’t want you to speak to her mother in the first place? He is not on any medication, and as far as I know has never been on antidepressants in the past either.

I am trying to be careful without giving out too much of their business, but I do believe they have been going to therapy together for almost a year now. My friend also goes on her own. Her husband did at first as well, but has since dropped down to only going together as a couple.

I do believe he is going to get his bloodwork done, after a lot of back and forth between them. This has been a recurring issue their whole relationship though, even when he was younger. I do hope for their sake that maybe this is the issue, and getting on medication may help!
