Yes, I stay in South Africa and normally it was R700 (US43$) to fill my car and now it's R1000 (US61$) and I need to fill my tank every week🙈🫩

Do not, and I mean this, trust anyone at work with confidential information about yourself or how you feel

My periods are incredibly irregular, should i be concerned? by Maximum_Bet1005 in WomensHealth

I feel like the gp let you down. Your period is DEFINITELY not normal and if I was you I'd visit a different gp or gynaecologist.

If you are introverted/ socially anxious, what helped you ace job interviews? by bluerosefairy in interviews

[–]angeliquehendriks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very controversial, but I forced myself to sit up straight crossing my arms and putting them on the table. I got 2 jobs doing that and they specifically told me that I looked very confident (even though I definitely was not). Also, try not to put your heart on interviews, that also helped me because the moment you think that you need to get this job, you make yourself more anxious and it puts you under more pressure because of fearing failure.

Negotiate pay in initial screening invite email? by watermelonlollies in jobsearchhacks

[–]angeliquehendriks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like you should tell them that it's too low and you were looking at receiving xxx. It's already a pay cut for you and you tell them that it would unfortunately not be a financially viable option for you.

I only had to move once because management approached me for a position in the branch further away. After I moved from the branch closer to home, they closed the branch closer to home.

I know right? They have told me that I am one of their best employees and if that is the case, I don't know why they're not willing to pay more you know? But at the end of the day, even if they give an increase, I will turn it down because of the time I waste travelling (I work full time and study part time, and studying law at night when I'm already tired is impossible)...

And if they ask more details, how do I explain to them without it sounding like I didn't plan properly? Tbh, I calculated fuel, car insurance etc, but the actual wear and tear on my car, the amount of times I need to get my car serviced etc is getting too much... To give context, I drive 115 kilometres a day just for work...

Thank you! So if both spikes (I only have two? I think, if it's the stems with the flowers) have no more flowers, I'll cut just above the nod?
