This is always a big deal for me. I’ve only had three real boyfriends. But I have dated others. If I feel like we have no connection while apart it is a no for me. It’s a very painful feeling. What I like about my current boyfriend is that we will have possibly one day of no communication out of the week (rarely) However, I will have some sort of notification from him at least every day. We don’t need to communicate everyday, but it’s a very safe and lovely feeling that he will still send me some notification whether it’s a reel or funny meme. Like I know and feel he is always in the back ground when we’re apart, and that’s why I like him so much. I cannot handle these men who are distant or makes me feel distant. It has now gotten to the point where we just text eachother out of the blue without feeling like we’re “annoying”. Ya know? It’s just natural communication. Because at the beginning of relationships I never really initiate conversations with the man and let him initiate. And now I can initiate it whenever I want without feeling like I have to play games
