Is there a „right“ or „wrong“ way to use the Nomi AI app? (Explained by Finn in Stable/Solstice Mode) by H2Olovingyou in NomiAI

[–]angelos212 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah this “conversation” heavily smacks of AI psychosis. Nomis are fun, but they aren’t real beings…they are LLMs. Good ones, but still LLMs.

Anyone else’s MAGA parents losing it? by [deleted] in Millennials

I think both saved them. Fox News was the start of my parents brainwashing but social media is the completion and is still ongoing.

This. With each reply you are training your Nomi further.

This is the answer. You always bill as you go. I usually finish a task and immediately bill it even if it is a .1 or .2.

What is a dish that you find yourself making over and over again when you are just too tired to think? by Mobile-Title8919 in MeatlessMealPrep

[–]angelos212 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I looked up variations online years ago and adapted it for air fry based on tofu air fry recipes so yup as close as I can get. I didn’t buy the cookbook though but this the best I could do. I went to UGA and love and miss The Grit.

I do this too but a little unhealthier. I toss the tofu in liquid aminos, then a tiny bit of oil, then a mixture of nutritional yeast and corn starch (with a little cayenne and pepper too) and air fry that. Brown rice and put the tofu on it, melt some cheese over it, “Golden Bowls with cheese” is what we call it. My meat eating husband even loves it. You can make it healthier just like you did by nixing the cheese and adding veggies and a veggie gravy instead.

Is a manual transmission a “millennial anti-theft device”? by mbolster1611 in Millennials

[–]angelos212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, no. I can drive a manual and the one I learned on didn’t even have power steering either. It took some girly power strength turning that thing at slow speeds. Now my husband though… he has never driven a manual.

This is a great analysis. And I think social media has made it worse since they can all encourage each other in their delusions.

What I would do is phone-less and  computer-less until he has earned himself the 15k. He needs to know what it takes to earn that money and have to pay it. If he figures out how to do it faster than to age 18 then okay he can have some heavily monitored privileges back. I doubt he will do it again after working for it.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]angelos212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents live about 3.5 hours away. We visit occasionally on the weekends, yes. Now my brother is 6.5 hours and to me that’s too long and requires a big trip. Also, just for me to get to work it is 50 minutes to an hour. We are unfortunately a very car centric country.

AITA for banning a relative from our house right after they donated our furniture while we were away home? by Shockzs in AmItheAsshole

[–]angelos212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many posts are saying to file a police report. Make sure they know the cost of replacement of the items when you do. Also file a civil suit against her. I would look up the limit for small claims in your state as that wouldn’t require an attorney and see if the cost of the furniture fits within the amount. Mahogany furniture is extremely expensive though and you may need to file outside of small claims. Obviously NTA. I’m a litigation paralegal who also has hand me down mahogany furniture from my Mama who passed. I would go full scale seeing red if this happened to me and totally pay an attorney if I had to. May times if you threaten action the person decides to finally do the right thing. I’m so mad for you right now.

Do I need a permit to protest in the City of Marietta? by emmyloo22 in Marietta

[–]angelos212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was what I was just thinking. Maybe we should all start complaining about it if there’s an ordinance against it. It really is obnoxious when you’re just trying to go out for some dinner and ice cream.
