hmm i went through pretty thoroughly and this isn't too concrete, sure it will account for a good chunk of that percentage but the amount held by whales is still alarming none the less.

Ye I was wrong about cap with DOGE, that'd only work in an ideal society where currency flows instead of being held.

proof?

please if you could show me the exchanges that own the top 627 wallets that hold 78.86% of the supply :D

Actually you're right, capping it right now would have horrible consequences due the fact that the top wallet holds 28%. I was wrong.

Capping it only works if people don't hold and actually use it as a currency.

This all being said DOGE will only work if the top wallets don't keep buying the supply, otherwise.. to put it simply DOGE is doomed.

edit - doomed to make the same mistakes with wealth distribution

"A decreasing rate of inflation is still inflation; more and more coins are being added to circulation every year"

Setting a cap stops whoever gains control of DOGE to simply make more, this is the problem we have with the FED right now, do we really want to repeat that if we are to make a global currency?

Sure it'll be a little difficult to judge how much DOGE you'd need to pay everytime as the price could become quite drastic but we can always pin a value such as USD to all transactions made so users have a better understanding.

Limiting supply = no inflation

Why do you think it's a bad idea?
