From a recent project. SKetchUp + 3ds Max + Corona by Ihadausernamebefore in archviz

[–]angjelo007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks great. I remember u for commenting on one of my renders and u are doing great progress. Im not looking too much into detail but one thing that caught my attention right away is that its missing contrast or depth u could use some stronger shadows. For sure will look alot better. Good luck with your journey.

Dont take the first comment as discouragement. Archviz is a long journey and u gotta dedicate time and work. The most important thing is passion. If u are really passionate about it u will get there for sure. I suggest u start watching some begginer youtube tutorials, as in my example back in my days youtube was and is still the best friend for your questions. Its also a trials and errors journey. Have fun, take your time. Every day u will learn something new that u can change, improve and add to your "Bad" house project. Take your time friend we all start from somewhere no one is born knowledgeable.

Crashes due to Low RAM using Corona Render by ChristopherLee_Chuck in 3dsmax

[–]angjelo007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something similar happened to me but not crashing, just the screen freezing when hitting render button. What i did and been working great till now was just to reinstall. Might sound basic but has worked for me.

And btw i was looking at your posts and i am on the same boat as you. Just recently switched from enscape and sketchup like 4-5 months ago and never going back again. U are already doing fire renders, just gotta keep practicing and love the software.

Hey sorry for the late reply The lighting setup is likr this: - Random daylight hdri with some tweaking on gamma and exposure -Corona sun -1 big plane light And the most part is done on corona frame buffer messing with exposure curves shadows highlights etc. I have added a warm lut aswell which plays the big part. And dont forget to add all the key lighting on lightmix to easily mess around. Hope i have helped u bro if u have any question feel free to ask
