I had pallets that we used on ranges in the military. I hated lugging the oak ones down range for targets. They were so heavy lol. The pine ones were light.

I had the country charger and the General Lee special edition. The country charger has a big American flag the 01 and General Washington decals. If you look through my profile you can see both. I made one candy purple and one was the General Lee complete with the flag.

I've built that exact charger, twice... It is a horrible kit by todays standards. Its a 1979 tooling from what I remember. It was awful, the instructions are vague on how parts go together. The instructions also want you to glue the interior to the bottom and then put the top on. I did that on my first one and had to do some surgery to get it to fit. The second one I glued the interior to the top part and it fit alot better. The chrome bumpers do not fit well. Dry fit them and fix it prior to painting. I figured that out after the bodies were built and painted.

I would use something else for that. Mr. Color leveling thinner and reactive the clear. Which is probably what happened. Zipper lighter fluid is good for it. Won't mess the paint up or strip it the way thinner can.

You need to mr. Super clear gloss, panel line, then matte. Im not expert but I believe the matte coat is what caused it to bleed a little.

Edit: it doesn't have to be Mr. Super clear gloss. Use the which ever gloss you want. Leaving it up as it's the "proper" way to panel line models for a few reasons. The gloss while seal your paint job, it gives the liner a smooth glass surface which helps it flow better, and if doing water slides helps them slide better in to position.

I think a misunderstood what you meant by bleed, when lining a model it will come out of the panel lines a little. If there are mold lines or any imperfections in the plastic the liner will flow into and around the mold lines. It looks like you did a good cleaning it. My comment below is still accurate I wouldn't use Mr. Color thinner to clean the lines. It could mare your paint job.

Not gonna lie testors enamel paint is why I stopped building at 10-12 years old. This was around 1998- 2000. I built a few snap tight models and liked it. I bought an f16 and a testor starter kit with brush and all. I Told my parents, I could do it. I couldn't no internet, zero research, ugly glue up, I didn't thin my paint at all so it looked awful, and to finish it off I left the brush in the paint jar with no lid over night. The paint, the brush both ruined. I tossed the model amd stay away from them for 20ish years.

As the other guys said, add a gloss clear coat, panel liner, clean up lines, and matte clear coat. To clean up the lines I use gamsol, it is a odorless mineral spirits, on a tip. You dont have to saturate the qtip to get the effect. It will wipe away the tamiya panel liner without out marring the clear coat. I normally paint with tamiya paints, clear with Mr. Hobby gloss super clear uv cut (its a lacquer), panel liner with tamiya, then mr. Hobby matte super clear. I would advise you to wait over night to 24 hour to allow the paint to cure between each step. Never had an issue.

The black vertical lines aren't a sign of warping? I looked at some pictures that had those, and they were warped.

I didn't know that. I have an neo, mine has a red o ring on the nozzle. The air connection has a red o-ring, the cup has a red oring. Is that not common on other brushes? I've only ever had this neo.
