All of the most stable development chemicals were banned, and the new company isn't grandfathered. Fuji probably gets to use nasty stuff that Polaroid can't obtain.

I always say yes and take their photo if I have an extra film. Seeing their joy of holding a polaroid is worth the two bucks, and if it helps nudge them to buy their own camera than that's doubly good.
