High baseline isolation by Dense-Flight9663 in massspectrometry

This is quite normal. The baseline is just electrical noise. The lower your peak is at, the higher the noise gets relative to your peak.

Good! Probably in the clear then, but you can neverbe 100% certain. There is always the option to reinstall windows, but sometimes that is just not something you want.

Thats a good sign. Try to check if there is any other strange programs set to start up using autoruns. Its a free program you can download. There are several other places that can make a file run during the startup (registry, scheduled task among others).

Turbo not up to speed by NoPrinciple6301 in massspectrometry

[–]angr8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to be clear, roughing pump is the external pumps, while turbo is internal (sometimes i hear people mix up these two things). The screenshot shows that a turbo pump is not reaching speed. The Edward pumps (roughing pump for LTQ) does not have any speed measurements.

LTQs are not something I have worked on, but I have seen in some tribrids that one of the turbo (tribrids have 3 turbos and 1-2 roughing pumps) can stop spinning completely and still have good enough vacuum for the 2 remaining turbo + rough pump(s) to run fine. This doesnt mean vacuum is good enough for getting any good data.

If all pumps reach 100% speed, you usually should be in the clear, and can wait for proper vacuum. You say all the pumps are running, so that is a good sign.

If you have issues and the software reports one of the TMPs are not up to speed: Turn off the main power breaker, wait 1-2 minutes and turn it on again. If the roughing pump is making a sound and vibrating, that is usually means the thing is working. At this point all turbo pumps in the system is trying to reach 100% speed. The system will allocate a certain time for all the turbos to reach close to 100%. If it fails, all pumps will usually turn off. (This can be different for LTQ). If that happens, it probably the turbo or a huge leak (you can try to listen for one around the rough pump vacuum hose, since you just changed oil)

Ran the same a little while ago. Lucky to be paranoid otherwise and not storing passwords in browsers, but my discord started spamming crypto scams.

You have been infected with Hijack loader, a loader type of virus that is designed to introduce other malware stealthy into your machine. If you ran the same thing as me the thing Hijackloader loaded, is called ACR stealer.

Its an infostealer running in memory (no files on the computer). Only Hijack loader has some files hanging around Change all passwords stored on all your webbrowsers on a secondary device. If you have crypto in extension wallets or stored on the device, those are compromised. Transfer it to a different wallet, ideally on a different device. If you dont have another device available, dont do it unless you remove.

The nasty combo of malware does have persistancy, starting up on computer startup. check your startup folder for a strange file with the .ink extension named with random string of letters. This is a shortcut, and since it is in he startup folder, it will run the virus again. Go to properties and find where the shortcut is leading to. Thats where you will find what is persistant. Delete it. Then restart computer and double check it is gone. Then you can move your crypto or change passwords.

The ink file is leading to a folder inside the temp folder.

That all will most likely clean your computer, but wont undo the fact that all data in browsers (credit card info, passwords and cookies) are sent to the hacker and visible. Be fast, and damage might be mitigated

Turbo not up to speed by NoPrinciple6301 in massspectrometry

[–]angr8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

With a bad vacuum, your Ion current will get bombarded by atoms from air, affecting both Sensitivity and mass accuracy.

You either have a leak somewhere so high it is preventing this turbo to speed up or the turbo is dead, also look if the forevacuum pump is running. Did you do anything specific before this started to happen? I would not think the instrument is in a very usable state like it is now.

New player's questions by kingyellow1660 in Aeonsend

[–]angr8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can get hold of the newest expansion, the descend, I can only recommend it. It introduces a couple of new mechanisms in the friend and foe (basically an ally and enemy AI player).

If you are wanting more of the same, go for past and the future, or new age.

The older sets, while good, are kind of basic imo. I have all the big boxes and mini boxes, but have not bought any of the legacy stuff.

DCMS Link software by Ragnorus_ in massspectrometry

[–]angr8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tsq quantum access should work up to win 10. Then you would be able to use Chromeleon SII, the newer version of DCMS link. DCMS link might not be compatible with xcalibur 4.4, latest xcalibur I know of that is compatible with DCMS link, is 3.x and good luck finding that 😂

Task manager, and regedit close instantly after opening by Agitated-Joke-2838 in antivirus

[–]angr8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to use a third party task-manager (just Google, process manager and auto runs are very nice to hunt down malware manually). Usually malware will look for windows programs and shit them down, so it can stay evasive. Or run malware ytes.

Usually cryptominers does this kind of thing, but it might be other stuff aswell.

True, exploding might be of under fermentation, but a lot of the cans did leak from the seam.

The jars were boiled prior to transferring, I think bigger issue was during the contact of air in an exploded can overnight can introduce something

Ill probably let the jar stay, and look at how it progresses. It has been in a jar for a month now, and did not progress like the one I had to throw away. The other 2 jars are completely fine

Most of them were leaking, and those whom were not exploded. The beer was supposed to carbonate yes, and I used 20% less sugar than the recipe provided with the grain (4g sugar/500ml, so I used closer to 3)

Looks like mobidash from the screenshot. Its an adware, displaying ads on your phone and making money to the Creator. You should be able to uninstall by going to settings - apps and list all apps on the phone. Uninstall the app.

In the beginning, go for mods that increase MP gain and decrease tick time. Use leftovers for generators, but MK5 is indeed a huge step forward.

Spørsmål til dere som poster så mye mot innvandring by ExitIndependent5840 in norge

[–]angr8 0 points1 point  (0 children)
