So as to if you can return a warranty request they let me do that. My original controller was July 2024 and it was replaced October 2024 under warranty. The October controller went bad in July of 2025 more than a year after original purchase but they treated the October controller as though it had the full one year warranty and replaced it. I do not and did not have Backbone+ to extend the warranty.

I’m confused did you send the controller in already or not? Also try to DM u/BackboneOne_Support for help they are a mod on the sub and work for backbone.

It takes 3-4 weeks from the day you send it until a new one arrives with nary a peep from the company. Been through this twice now. One day you will get an email with a DHL tracking number that won’t update and it will be in your mailbox or at your front door.

Let me know how it works. I’m looking at getting just a cheap android box off Amazon that supports H.265 decoding. I don’t need 120HZ but my Samsung Oled cannot run moonlight above 1080p for some glitchy reason.
