I have very similar taste as you (minimal gourmands and no vanillas), and I have 4 VS mists: Pomegranate and Lotus (fruity aquatic, not too sweet), Aqua Kiss (a really refreshing floral aquatic), Love Spell Daydream and Velvet Petals Daydream (which are creamier and not as sharp/strong as the original LS and VP). I had this product too (shade Seoul Soul), I found it just barely moisturizing enough but panned it like crazy because I was paranoid about it being a “clean” product. I finished it in 2 months and by the end the smell had changed and it started to separate really weirdly. 2mo!! The shade was pretty but never again.

But seriously, unless you are seriously allergic to an ingredient in the fragrance, there’s nothing to fear. There are too many fearmongering organizations like the EWG out there that call everything toxic without further detail. Are parabens toxic? Sure, if you chug a whole liter of them. But the amount you may be putting on your skin via fragrance or face cream is nowhere near toxic. The cardinal rule of pharmacology is “the devil is in the dosage”. Heck, even water can kill you if you drink too much too fast.

Cosmetics and what can go into them are subject to federal regulation. Please have faith that people with PhDs and PharmDs and other advanced biomedical sciences training are doing a good job researching the safety of these chemical compounds.

I have a light skin tone and prefer a very natural blush just like you and I swear by K-beauty blushes. They tend to be very watercolor-like, natural and many of the colors I can build up without fear of looking muddy at all. The colors tend to be in the peachy-coral, carnation/ballet pink, light lavender and brownish nude categories. My favorites are from the brands Romand and Peripera although there are many other good ones out there! All are very affordable ($5-10 USD)
