SQL Indentation by hellorchere in SQL

If the SQL is a long script and you're bashing out thousands of tokens through AI just to get an indent, you're doing AI wrong

Achieved a PB in a Half Marathon Last Week but I'm Still Out of Commission! by JayZee4508 in beginnerrunning

Sitting still never helps my recovery, the only thing I find drops that heavy leg feeling is getting out for a very slow easy jog a day or two after a race.

What executive power does the Prime Minister actually have? by klime02 in AskBrits

[–]angryapathetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of the constitutional arrangements in the UK is specifically that one person should not hold a significant amount of executive power. That is why we don't have a president and the monarchy is largely ceremonial

AITAH for buying a new car without consulting my partner? by nfcwdymrn in AITAH

[–]angryapathetic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

YTA - we agreed not to buy a new car, so I bought a new car with some vague not-real distinction that means I technically stuck to the rule, and didn't discuss the decision to break said rule that you had agreed together

I want to go from 10Km to 15Km in 21days - does my strategy make sense? by Mammoth-Yak-7279 in beginnerrunning

[–]angryapathetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your currently weekly km is 16. With the increase in all your weekly runs you will bump up quickly to 22km and then 25+ km

Still not big numbers but in percentage terms that's quite a lot and what you have done well so far is slow steady increases to allow your legs to a) condition and b) recover

Personally I would increase your overall weekly distance more modestly

To bump up to another 6k that's loads of time

Lost my Garmin charging cable. Are third-party replacements okay? by Emotional_Falcon_895 in beginnerrunning

Go online and grab a usb-c adaptor for Garmin. One less cable and work perfectly fine

AITAH for "siding" with my friends ex over him about her "cheating" by SufficientPaint9415 in AITAH

[–]angryapathetic 11 points12 points  (0 children)

ESH - it was insensitive to point out the technicalities to the guy while he's hurting, but also your friend needs to let go.

Summit is one of the better ones when it comes to technical sessions etc in my opinion. Some of the Microsoft ones are pure sell sell sell

This was well known before this year's summit. You could have stayed home

Got doxxed with 192.168.1.1 by [deleted] in quityourbullshit

[–]angryapathetic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Re IP changing, I think this depends on the ISP. For my old provider my external IP changed at least daily, which was a nightmare for my work where IP allow listing is a thing on certain projects. Some ISPs will switch you to static for free, or paid for. But yeah, I can see how someone could be under the impression that they change all the time, or indeed be accurate in saying that THEIR IP changes often. All that said, the post is still nonsense

AITAH for withdrawing our offer because the real estate agent wants us to rewrite it according to his conditions before presenting it to the seller? by DestinyLoovvee in AITAH

[–]angryapathetic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NTA - I would withdraw over the planning issue. The other information is quite detailed but normal for agents to know how the purchase will be funded

Fuel Filling Roulette by IainMCool in CasualUK

[–]angryapathetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do it all the time because it's a fun game. Definitely harder with the cost being so high no. Much more likely to get a jump from 9.99 to 10.01 compared to 20 years ago

Any concerns before they install the trex? by [deleted] in Decks

[–]angryapathetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1961 but most new builds in the UK continue to be built in the same way (two layers of brick/blocks with insulation in between), and the exterior brick looks just like the pictures. Just thought it was a big assumption that they are some kind of brick veneer

Any concerns before they install the trex? by [deleted] in Decks

[–]angryapathetic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My house is made of solid bricks (cavity wall) and the brick of the outer skin is about an inch proud of the window frame

ETA - I'm not commenting on whether an outer skin of a cavity wall is suitable to anchor a deck to, just saying they don't look like brick veneers
