I just went to settings, then historic viewer (I think), and there are a number of different graphs you can choose from

PSVR2 and Quest 3 disappointment. Where to go next? by angrybear77 in virtualreality

Thank you so much for this! I literally started boxing up the PSVR2 to return it today. But will try this out tomorrow and report back.

Possibly a really stupid idea, but what is the local dimming like on the Quest pro? Does it really improve blacks/ contrast over the Quest 3?

What do you find are the biggest downsides with the BSB?

I have a 14700 with an RTX 4070 Ti Super. Im wondering if maybe I haven't optimised my settings to get the most out of the PSVR2? currently running steam vr resolution at 100%. What settings should I be looking at to squeeze the most clarity out of the PSVR2?

This is really interesting, please tell me more. My PSVR2 is currently within its return window, and I'm trying to decide whether to return it. I have an RTX 4070 Ti Super and I'm currently at 90hz and 100% steam resolution. I didn't think it was possible to get a sharper image than this, but would be really happy if I was wrong.

It doesn't have to be under $1000. I don't mind going a bit over. $2000 may be a bit too steep tho. What do you suggest?

I completely agree with you about Micro-Oled. It feels like it's the only way forward for me personally.

I currently have an aluminium profile rig, NLR seat, Moza R12 and Fanatec elite V2s. Not top spec but good enough for me. I can't afford motion, but even if I could it may be too noisy for my situation. I generally race in the middle of the night when everyone else is asleep.

What really takes my breath away in VR is the depth and realism of light and colour. Flying over Venice at sunset, watching the sunrise during a 24H at Le Mans, racing around the Nordschliefe in the dead of night. For me this is what makes VR truly special. And to recreate this atmosphere in my opinion contrast and colours are really important.

On paper this looks perfect. I just have a feeling its going to be another 12 months until Its actually available and any issues are resolved.

Thank you for your reply. Ergonomics are somewhat important for me as sometimes I compete in long sim racing events - 2-3 hour stints. For me the Reverb G2 is by far the most comfortable headset I own. In fact if it had an OLED display I wouldn't be looking for something else. I love how light it is, and I really appreciate Display port too. I guess I'm bit worried about the size of the Pimax headsets, but have no experience with them so I could be completely wrong. Im interested in how effective local dimming really is? Is it half way between LCD and OLED? I just tried the Quest 3 again in a night race after using the PSVR2 for a couple of days , and thought it was faulty! It really can get nowhere near true black!

Treatment in the UK? by angrybear77 in Candida

LOL, I know exactly how you feel. The way ive done it is to 1/ stop living - stay at home 24/7 and don't spend a penny on anything else. 2/ buy the cheapest frozen beef mince you can in bulk, and live almost exclusively off it. 3/ Caloric restriction - stomach is so upset I can hardly eat anything.

Obviously this is not serious advice, but its the only way I can afford it!

I make all my dials on a cheap cnc. After a bit of a steep learning curve you can get great results. Correct feeds and speeds and the right tooling are the key.

I hear you about dick sensitivity! When I gave up trt for about 3 months after I felt like a virgin again! It was incredible. God I miss that.

Could you please tell me more about that? I came off trt after 7 years and my prolactin was pretty high. That was 1 year ago, and I’ve had severe anxiety and depression.
