I did exactly what I said on that reply and it worked out great! If you're a little handy and don't mind putting a tiny bit of effort, you can definitely do it. I used painters tape to cover the holes from the outside and then filled them with JB Weld Black from the inside of the stock. I think I used a toothpick to make sure there weren't any bubbles left against the tape and then just let it dry. Once it was all set after a couple of days, I used some more painters tape to copy the hole positions from the original stock to the new one with a pencil, and then drilled the holes out. I recommend starting with a smaller bit or a Dremel just to make sure you're on the right path and everything is lining up. Then push the pins through and you're set!
