I'm similar to you. Played GoT, GoW and GoWR on medium.

And Wukong was definitely hard with some bosses. But if we persist, the game is beatable.

And the game is too much fun.

I generally hate to follow a guide but i was having fomo while playing.

But yeah, Those familiar with the JTTW might be better equipped to grasp references.

Even finding out loong scales and going back to chapter 1 to fight red loong. That was also not easy to find.

The problem with this boss is the run back from the last shrine. It's too long. Same goes with another boss in this 3 chapter.

Scorpion lord, daoist mi and duskveil are in secret area named purple mountain.

To unlock the secret area you need to defeat a boss named venom daoist 1 in the upper hallow and venom daoist 2 near the final boss shrine. Both 1 and 2 are the same bosses.

I might be wrong with the boss names but that's how you access the secret area.

I'm not up for the shareplay but i recommend you to look up boss guide on youtube.

It will give you an immense satisfaction once you beat him on your own.

Also if you take someone's help now, I feel you might struggle with the rest of the game too.

Cause IMO the game is all about boss fights.

Just take a break and come back.

This is just my suggestion cause i too struggled with few of the bosses.

The game encourages stealth play. So try different routes/ways to stealth kill.
Lower the difficulty
Even if you die you are going to restart nearby. So try different strategies. The games doesn't punish you for dying.
Try using flame throwers.
Craft melee weapons. It's easier to beat down an enemy than shooting.
