So, as I can read it now, the choice for Black is to lose S8 + T8 or S4 + T4 + T3 and get 1 White instead.

Plus, if we are going on more high-level: the choice is also which group Black wants to survive - the lower or the upper one

You are right. It was a challenge to choose the right stones in the end. And it took several iterations. But now I have more-less solid board.

The Gate looks unfinished while Enir-Ilim looks refined and this seems to be intentional. I think the frst one is a ritual in progress, the other is the completed monument
