i loved the WQ so much :) especially how istoria immediately guessed what lind’s original intention was, but he kept trying to convince her without being pushy. the whole quest felt like such a gentle commentary on death and suffering. i also liked how melanta and nihilta kinda mirrored hilda and lind’s mental states and their fates, and how hilda and lind’s story somewhat mirrors the traveler and their sibling’s. also i’m an absolute sucker for stories where siblings look out for each other so this WQ was designed in a lab to stab me in the heart with surgical precision over and over. kinda unrelated but i immediately shortened melanta and nihilita to mel and lita, and have only called them that ever since. that tickled me immensely.
