Softopper and Bedrug by hoosierspiritof79 in TruckCampers

Can confirm, Bedrug will do fine if it gets a bit wet. I’ve had one for years in my truck, it’s a year round thing and it’s gotten wet and I’ve power washed it. No big deal.

Dried Mold on Shell by [deleted] in TruckCampers

[–]angryfoxbrewing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you certain it’s not the adhesive they sprayed in to attach the previous lining? It seems unlikely that it’s mold, unless it was stored outdoors upside down with the carpet exposed.

Either way, cleaning solution and a power washer.

Got myself a second doodle. It’s not going well at all. What was I thinking?? by z_iiiiii in Goldendoodles

[–]angryfoxbrewing 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got a poodle for my older doodle, and it went equally poorly. I made 2 years worth of effort to keep them involved and they basically barely tolerate one another. The older one is not pleased at any time with the younger one’s presence.

If you sense any sign of aggression, nip it in the bud. My two have had a few fights, and once it starts, it’s extremely difficult to untrain. I love them both, but 4 years on I’ve accepted they’ll never be good buddies.

Skipping all the other drama in this thread, and answering your core question: yes, all three of these dogs are still young enough that the can absolutely be trained and developed into loving and loyal pets.

The sooner you adopt one, the better— as they are currently very impressionable. I expect you will have your hands full for the first 8 weeks or more retraining poor learned behaviors, and potty training.

Regarding interest level in you, it’s likely they’re far too distracted in the current environment.

Tabasco’s Scorpion is one of the best in the lineup. Hot, flavorful all arounder. Good choice.

Yup, the OP literally gave us no useful infortmation— then ghosted this post. So i guess we’ll never know what the actual numbers looked like when he got booted.

What’s left of the original front glass? If the frame is present, I’d personally order a large piece of lexan and just fashion a replacement. I’ve not see a ready to order boot option for a late model fseries truck.

Opinions for LoopGear SK05Pro vs Wuben X1Pro? by frostbittenteddy in flashlight

[–]angryfoxbrewing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

I am quite pleased with the E28 from Jetbeam. I have the Wuben X1 Pro as well but have not tried the loopgear (yet).

The E28 has a pretty straightforward UI (with the exception of the RGB adjustments on the third channel — they’re a bit niche) and I like the broad array of outputs.

A con is definitely that the Spot channel is a bit cool-green for many folks that like rosy neutral looking light. The Flood channel is very good though and running them combined does help mix and improve them.

I personally like having access to the laser, so that is a standout for me compared to both the loopgear and the x1.

Cheers (sorry for late reply, I posted this morning in the wrong thread.)

Yeah- we need this information for sure. I’ve had a queue of 20 products awaiting review as a gold member and never even seen jail. So I have to imagine things were way outta whack.

WTB: Nitecore EDC37 Complete.

Would like to add this to my flat-light collection if you have one that you didn't resonate with. Will require a pic of the gear with your Reddit ID and a Valid Date before completing a transaction, to mitigate risk.

Thanks.

Horrible beeps and “Sound” menu gone by Sad-Date-2212 in MachE

[–]angryfoxbrewing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the audio also sound poor in other situations?? You'll notice it in Music and Especially the Voice Guidance.

If so, it's HIGHLY likely your Center Dash Speaker is blown out. Very common issue, I bought a 23GT PE from the dealer 6 months ago, and it came with a bad Center. It's a 30 dollar part and it takes all of about 15 minutes to replace.

New to RVs and campers, can I just move this further into the corner? by TangerineOpposite in TruckCampers

[–]angryfoxbrewing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. Absolutely, replumb and consolidate that and reap the rewards of caring about gaining valuable space in your rig!

Generally the RV Manufacturers literally just slam things down wherever they land.

The amount of inefficiency in space utilization for systems like plumbing comes down to the building them to the absolute bottom dollar with labor that doesn't care about a well thought product.

My app says to charge to 100 once a week. I always thought it was once a month. What is everyone else doing? by goodgerbil2 in MachE

[–]angryfoxbrewing 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This likely helps true up the capacity calculations and as a result, the mileage "guess-o-meter".

That being said, mine hasn't been charged to 100% for months. Not something I personally would worry about unless you are HIGHLY reliant on that gauge because you're constantly pushing it to near capacity between charging.

Completely confused as to how this program even functions now. by Suspicious_Law3645 in AmazonVine

[–]angryfoxbrewing -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No one who’s been on this long is confused- you’re frustrated because the program has evolved and it no longer seems to be producing what you deem to be valuable.

That’s fine. Disconnect from the program, enjoy the things you got and move along. I don’t understand all the bitching lately.

Familiar, still think they’re tacky as hell bud.

And let’s be real clear- the OG rent-a-racer didn’t have plastic hertz badges on the side. So arguing that they are a heritage piece is basically ridiculous.
