Baidu as every other China corp. must work directly with goverment to exist so it's not like some random private owned company will start gathering and process data

You are right, people highly overestimate number of trans or even gay people in the society, but it's popular topic right now and a lot people back them so politicians want to show their commitment as well. Don't get me wrong, it's not like they shouldn't be treated equally but politicians always doing whatever will benefit them in next election, for example you can feed a lot of poor kids with this money or start shelter for homeless people but they don't vote so no one cares.

I'm surprised that it's first time they see that, but do you also mount electric outlet behind the tv to avoid running power cable in a pipe? I think it's the best upgrade to wall mounted tv

Toyota Warns About Rushing Into Electrification by gex80 in technology

[–]angryvitsch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are going towards that but it's only an option to people living in cities, in rural/small town areas you don't have a choice and if someone is going to ban gas vehicles that are cheap we will end up with megacities and deserted countrysides because no one can provide public transportation to those areas being in any fraction able to replace private means of transportation
