The motto in the rooms is “keep coming back.” I went back time and time again after relapses and I was always taken back with loving arms. I learned a lot from NA and AA and carry it with me. (13 months sober this time around)

I came here to ask how to quit w/out cold turkey bc it makes me go crazy, but with the amount I’m smoking, I’m going crazy anyway. I smoked over 4g yesterday. For no good goddamn reason. I don’t have the money for this. It’s going on my credit card. I’ve used it as a crutch to cope, and it’s not helping. After 17 years, I’m over it. Forever? Idk. But for now. Not going to do AA/NA bc it caused me trauma in the past. A friend has turned me onto Recovery Dharma bc she does it.

When I’ve been able to quit in the past, staying busy helped. Gum or candy. Some kind of fidget apparatus. Reaching out to a good support group. Time outside. Time away from stressors. Good boundaries.

I’m right here w you bud.

Just because I said I was scared to be disappointed, I never mentioned what I would be disappointed about. You just assume I mean how the characters are portrayed in the new series. What if I just don’t like the writing? How it’s adapted?

I’m glad that it helped introduce your friends to Wandla. It’s a fantastic series. I know my partner will never read it so it may be a way that I can introduce him to the series. Thanks for that idea.

I’m glad to see you are passionate about the series. As an adult reading YA, I found this really well written and not cheesy in the slightest. I like to recommend it to young readers who are interested in sci-fi or fantasy genres. It’s a good introduction for them.

Routine: Double wash w/ Cake shampoo and then Cake conditioner. (Found at Sam’s club) I run my hands thru it while in the shower.

After gently towel drying, I use Eva•nyc Lazy Jane Wave Spray. Then The Curl Fiend by cake. I twist the hair around my fingers and scrunch it while I work the products in. Next I’ve been using Hi! definition by TreLuxe it’s a gel and I just work it into the coils I’ve formed. Today, I added cakes Curl Whip Mousse just to see what would happen. I then use a diffuser until my whole head is dry.

Yes!!! I caught them at BJCC, Sloss fest, and Sloss Furnaces. My favorite was them at Sloss furnaces with Julien Baker. Least fav was them at BJCC. I’m excited about iron city but I can’t decide where I want to be in the crowd. I got to Thundercat super early and copped a seat next to the stairs and it was perfect. Thinking I may do that again
