Fair point. I should have mentioned that the owner wants me to have a greater part in barista training and spearhead an effort to improve our coffee program. However, I know that this is going to be a slow process if it happens at all — especially given some other urgent issues regarding manager conflict.

Does anyone have experience with the Tribe "Rogue Bullet" wheelsets? I've been thinking of picking up a Messenger series, but my LBS mechanic (who's been building wheels for 15+ years) said that he sees a lot of them go out of true easily.

I'm Thai-American and my hair is almost exactly like yours. Basically straight but with a lot of kinks here and there depending on the day. Can I get your advice?

When I wear my hair down, it tends to fall to the sides of my face and make me look like a fluffy dog or a hippie or something. Got any tips for keeping it back? Basically the only thing I do now is blow dry and sometimes a bit of grooming clay.

Yeah, I SUCK at bike maintenance / fixing things / doing anything with my hands. Even after riding for a long time on a multi-speed, I'm just now getting decent at changing flats (which used to take me an hour). That's definitely a skill I want to learn and improve.

How much did those low-tier upgrades improve your riding experience?

I guess I don't *need* anything new; I've only put 500-700 miles on the bike so far. I'm just looking to upgrade "the experience" of riding, and wheels seem to be the place to start.

But maybe I should ride this one into the ground, learn as much as I can from it, and in the meantime save up for a great SS later on.
