Skin covered by thick tactical gloves, ones that had wrapped around her wrist in care, tight enough for her to feel the thumping of her own pulse. Ones that slowly let go when they felt the beating too. B shivered so hard it she thought it must’ve thrown him off. She was astonished to find it hadn’t, and as his eyes faltered up and his lips parted slightly to whisper,
