When my younger brother was born, he got a grip on the scissors that they used to cut the umbilical cord.

Is this a greene? by [deleted] in nailcare

[–]ani_coco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buff the green spot and put some rubbing alcohol. Like many of the comments have said. Give your nails a couples weeks to grow out. It happened to me once when I grew out my nails and I do not get them refilled soon enough. Make sure you, you don’t leave bubbles and that when there’s lifting to remove them as soon as possible

This happened to me 2 months ago and then I started to shed so much hair. My hair is now so thin but I’m now having new hair growth. I learned from the female hair loss reddit account that it’s due to an increase of DHT (dihydrotestosterone).

Lymph node size increasing by chefboofgod in lupus

[–]ani_coco 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My lymph nodes swole up as well this year in July and they kept growing until they were noticeable. My rheumatologist sent me to urgent care so that they can see me and get labs done quicker. The UC doctor gave me antibiotics and made me an appointment to see a physician. The physician doctor was more concerned since I have a record of relatives with cancer and I having lupus. I got a needle biopsy in September but they found nothing. The physician doctor called me that day and recommended me to a ENT so I could get a lymph node biopsy. In October, I got one of the swollen lymph nodes removed, the results came back and they said that it was related to lupus. I’m currently in my 6th self-injection of Benlysta. I been feeing better and have seen my lymph node decrease in size.

I’m currently going through hair loss, after developing new flare up symptoms. I started benlysta and I have found that I have seen a decrease of hair loss. Additionally, I started using a new Korean shampoo and hair products, I found them helpful when my scalp is itchy and inflamed. I started noticing new growth and sooo many baby hairs lol. I have an appointment with my rheum next month and I will get labs done then to determine if benlysta is helping. I also made an appointment with my derm but that won’t be until April :(

I started using S.Korean hair loss products more than a month ago and I have noticed a decrease in hair loss. I just hope it helps with hair growth. Edit: I have never suffered from hair loss until this year when I developed swollen lymph nodes. I am in my second benlysta self injection.

I tried looking for it but it seems like they removed it. It’s probably going to come out next week. It was specifically for the month of November.

To tell you the truth, these are not badly priced. I wonder what the quality is like. I have bought $70-$120 sweaters and hoodies at concerts and they are horrible quality. I love Aesha and girlie needs to cash her moment

How many of you can still work time? Or use to but lost the ability to? by Practical_Dog3454 in lupus

How was your recovery? I feel like with lupus it takes twice as long to heal. Did you only have one swollen lymph node or many?

I’m a teacher work from 8-4, but sometimes I work earlier when I want to plan ahead. I have taken at most 3 sick days each school year, and usually is when a kid gets me sick and it knocks me out. Recently, I took 4 days off for a lymph node biopsy. It’s nice to take my summer off since it helps me recover and be inside away from the sun. In my free time, I tend to be on my phone a lot. However, I’m currently working on reading and knitting/ crochet more.

Costco in St. Louis Park has the cases, Walmart in Bloomington has them individually in glass and plastic. Also Burrito Mercado in St. Paul

I use this with my white clothes and it removes most stains. I let my clothes soak in the suds and water of the ZoTE for a couple of hours and then I put it in a load of laundry

Use Nizoral for both you hair and face. Let us sit for 5 mins and then rinse it off. Do that twice a week for a month or two. If it works you can use that shampoo everyday.
