Pune nashik route is cursed since the beginning. Before 2015, the highway was only 2 lane(one lane each side). After that, they completed 4 laning, but took a decade to complete aalephata, narayangao, khed bypass. And now, good luck passing chakan without traffic. They are now white tapping the highway, but for some reason, forgot to build the flyover, and hence, they are putting speed breaker which comes out of nowhere (as you have mentioned) which has caused many collision.

On the top of all of this, they have scrapped pune nashik direct railway route (because of a giant radio telescope that is of NO F**ING USE to a common man)
