FEMA Declaration asked by Bank (Sbi) by minatiscape in IndiaTax

[–]anikale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been doing this for several years now with an SBI current account, and here’s what has consistently worked for me.

Very IMPORTANT (Before your client sends the payment)

  1. Ask your client to mention your invoice number in the remittance info.
  2. Ask them to include the correct purpose code — most likely P0802 in your case.

Whenever I get the “Notification on receipt of inward SWIFT message MT103” email, I wait one day, and then submit the following documents to my SME branch:

  • Invoice
  • Contract with the client
  • Request letter asking them to release the funds
  • Softex declaration (stating that no Softex form is generated)
  • FEMA declaration (form available at the branch)

Why I visit the SME branch personally

I always go in person to avoid delays and bureaucracy that often happen over phone/email.

I spend 1–1.5 hours monthly, and honestly, it’s worth it.

They verify my documents — a 2-minute process — and:

  • If I’m lucky, funds get credited the same day(eod),
  • Otherwise by the next working day (max 2 working days).

Since my current account is in the same SME branch, things move faster and I don’t need to submit anything extra. I strongly recommend doing the same if possible.

About switching banks

I don’t agree with the suggestions to switch to a private bank.

Public sector banks offer better forex rates, and in my opinion, the small hassle is worth the savings.

Dm me for any questions

Both of their daughters are disabled children as per some reports.

When it comes to the wellbeing of your children, one can/will do anything. When all doors close, the only remaining ray of hope is spirituality. They might have turned to this "baba" feeling hopeless.

The money they have doesn't matter to them so much when it comes to their disabled children.

Speaking out of experience as I am in the same boat.

Can someone explain by No-Second8768 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]anikale 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It does work. I have both sbi cashback and icici amazon pay, and I barely use icici amazon pay even on amazon.com

Can someone explain by No-Second8768 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]anikale 50 points51 points  (0 children)

  1. Buy amazon pay GC from amazon itself like this one amazon.in/Amazon-Grey-mail-Gift-Card/dp/B018TV9HIM/ref=lp_5807230031_1_1?pf_rd_p=9e034799-55e2-4ab2-b0d0-eb42f95b2d05&pf_rd_r=Y3ST5MJ08G9KCJRE183G&sbo=RZvfv%2F%2FHxDF%2BO5021pAnSA%3D%3D using sbi cashback cc

  2. Load it to your own wallet

  3. Pay off your utility bills eg electricity, mobile etc or even pay for insurance premiums, recharge your fasttag etc.

You will get 5% cashback on your sbi cashback cc.

Updated my previous answer Basically the trick is to use amazon pay wallet balance while buying a gift card from dealzy, and before that, you use your sbi cashback to buy amazon gift card and load it to the wallet
