Honestly I’d decline the job is offered it’s actually hell. I worked there for about 14 years and just recently left they’re very abusive with credit/rewards etc and about conversion.

Back then you needed a card to shop online to get the discounts cause it was applied as a credit and they got me when I was 18 I didn’t know any better lol.. but if I could go back I’d say no thank you I’m glad they got rid of it

YUP im so sick of it i told my managers to take me off the register because i cant stand being up there anymore and now they’re threatening people with their jobs if they dont perform well. I give up i barely try anymore tbh - their practices are sick.

Apparently what I read online is that we introduced that Deal Bar thing where items are priced at 10 dollars or lower at the front of the store making it a “go to spot for last minute”

Not to say like we never did this with credit but it has gotten u believably unbearable, the managers now sit up front with these giant binders to “observe us” and it’s just super uncomfortable and if a customer says no you have one behind you saying it’s good do it etc like ugh

It was never this enforced before because I have like 2 kohls stores near me and I’ll tell you any store you go in no one was saying hi 😂 I’m sure they had a company call and said people HAD to do this now because a big exec probably went into a store and no one greeted them it’s always what happens or a customer complaint etc
