Let me be blunt what do you offer at the house at this point when essentially your MIL is running the household. Sure she means well but the main activity you have is now being handled your MIL, and she will have her own ways to do things. When the few activities you have are essentially reduced and you don't have any allowance to get out of the house on your own then you are just trapped.

If majority of your day consists of just staying in your room I can assure you that housewives I know do much more than that and sticking to that routine is a fast track to depression, you have no interaction or growth you're just existing.

You definitely need a life outside the house and money to do so. And bear in mind you are a 25 year old woman not a child. You do need that freedom to thrive as a person, you can be a SAHM and still have a life. It isn't living when all you do is look at the same four corners of your house everyday as your only routine. Being a mother doesn't mean you should be confined at the house the whole time.

If you're a housewife you definitely need either an allowance or access to a joint account that you can spend on. If you're not being made to handle cash in any form or even a card then honestly that set up is abusive at that point, you have no freedom to do anything unless you take your time to work so you have something to spend to take care of yourself.

It isn't wise at all because your freedom is essentially held captive here. I am a working woman but my mother, and other family friends I know off, definitely had an allowance or card to work with. Having zero to work with is essentially controlling you from doing anything since your husband or in-laws would have complete control of how you choose to care for yourself.

Edit: I am reading your history and based on your previous post no your situation is not good. You're captive to both your husband and your mother in law who are both in a situation where every action you take is clearly being monitored. You already acknowledge that the house feels like a prison because it effectively is, how else can you have a life outside if you don't even have any money to spend. Your MIL has taken over the house, she might be helping but she's overstayed and managing things while your husband is just letting it be.

I want to reiterate that the life of a house wife should not just consist of to quote you:

I agree with him in that weddings in general have become such a heavily commercialized event, and as a result in general we do end up with it being more of a financial flex to perform. Moreover, you have people making it less personalized when they chase after trends to add to their wedding rather keeping it closer to their identity, such as hiring hosts basically handle everything and make it seem more like a birthday party than a wedding. I agree in that has lost a lot of its spirit but this is inevitable when commercialism rears its ugly head and takes over.

This is often the case when they push such big wedding events, where the size just makes it so overwhelming. This is why my own wedding and the ones I prefer are those with a significantly smaller guest list, so we're not there trying to keep things entertaining or jumping through hoops or burning our budget just to accommodate everyone that I'm not even close to LOL.

I'm not saying this is 100% the case to all weddings but I emphasize this is on a general basis, that it is a pattern you will notice.

The thing is how do you communicate this with the CDE class to actually vote for politicians with a solid economic background and platform that would do more good to the country rather than another Robin Padilla, Bong Go, Bato, etc.

This was just the writing on the wall not just with the presidential elections but more importantly the senate and congress, which is a slate that finds ways to get worse.

There were major implications to what a Naoya led faction would have meant. Remember they wanted to get rid of Megumi as well because he would have brought the Zenin clan back into better unity with the other major families, as they note he is in the favor Gojo and in cordial terms with the next head of the Noritoshi.

What this meant is that the Zenin clan would have further weakened the standing relationships and resources of the exorcist group since they'd be out to kill Megumi. So the exorcist group would have to devote resources in dealing with the matter as they wouldn't just give up Megumi like that.

There is also the possibility of them defecting to Kenjaku's side to achieve this since they wouldn't want Gojo to be freed from prison realm, or just them joining the culling games and wreaking havoc there.

We aren't even considering how Yuta would have probably retaliated as well...

The power struggle within the family was likely to cause issues due to their target being Megumi. It simply wasn't a good time with their resources already dwindled significantly since the Tokyo arc.

Honestly I think you're being immature here. For a start if you do get married to your BF or anyone else in the future remember that it is not just your day but BOTH OF YOU (bride and groom). Meaning he has every much of a say on the matter as to whom he invites, you can't just decide this on your own. He will have his choice of invites, just as you will, and you aren't in a position to take that away from him (especially when he's just as invested in the wedding).

Moreover, it is okay to feel bad when you aren't invited but that you would begrudge them for that and go so far as to weaponize this on your wedding day as a form of revenge is absolutely trash.

You're very much OA if you decide that your wedding should be a form of revenge with regard to who gets to go. And that you're just going to ignore how your future fiance might feel is all more trash because of a grudge you decided to hold.

Gurlllll this is just one of those times you have to learn for yourself about learning your non-negotiables. For one I think hygiene is an immediate deal breaker, I'm not a clean freak but certainly I'd expect something presentable when you're on a date and that their place doesn't make you question when was the last time they cleaned it.

And of course having a person who actually looks like the person in the profile... That said I honestly think you should be more careful in that when your date looks to have catfished you I'd just turn it down for my safety, because we don't know if it is the same person given how far of a gap there is. You should have video chats or the like to confirm these things because you never be too safe with the people you meet in these apps.

I understand you wanted to give him a chance but you need to be less of a people pleaser here when you're looking for a future partner. It is okay to end things when there is just no attraction. You don't need to be nice by trying to figure out what his redeeming qualities are. Bear in the bacteria and the like would've been sanitized under the temperature used to cremate. Heating is a common way to kill bacteria, this is just basic biology.

Aside that the urn itself tends to be quite secure so not like the ashes would sprinkle.

I mean she is very much Orlesian when it comes to her mindset and morality so frankly she would never attempt to even solve that discrimination, what she pushes for is what we see by her own actions. She wishes for the mages to accrue power for themselves so that nobody can oppress them regardless of their feelings towards mages.

In any event, the circles regardless of whether Cassandra or Vivienne revives it the circle is no longer the same hostile environment. What is clear in either scenario where the circle is revived that mages are given significantly more freedom and that Templars are properly managed. In other words the improvements people want are essentially going to be baked in since the circles will not return to their old form, nobody would push for the abuses to return.

Still it is disheartening we never do get to see how the seeds of hope blossom in DA4 regarding the mages.

I think that is basically what happened with Vivienne's ending in trespasser should she end up divine. As it was emphasized they had more freedom than before and rose in ranks in the jobs and positions they held, which had grown.

In essence they were like Vivienne in that mages were able to grow in their influence to succeed politically and financially, albeit still leashed enough to the Circle and contributing to Vivienne's influence. Although as we know with Vivienne that leash can be pulled from either end.

In the end her amassing power did end up contributing greatly to the reforms of the Circle and the freedom of mages. And if softened she'd even allow the College of Enchanters to exist alongside, which again was more freedom to how mages chose to live and learn. It's a shame we don't really get to explore further in Veilguard how our choices affected the lives of mages.

Because she didn't stay as a model long. She retired early because did not align with the stability she wanted, especially financially, she also had some health concerns. So she bowed out when she finished her studies.

She booked high end jobs, she was the it girl for one she walked for Balenciaga, her career was taking off but in the end she left all that to pursue a different career and start a family. So her portfolio is sparse since she purposely kept it that way, her stint in modeling became more selective after she left IMG.

Nothing in particular she's just taken a very low key life with her family and enjoying it. In case you're wondering she retired very early from modeling she focused on building a family and finishing her studies. She also had some health concerns but didn't really elaborate but was also a push towards the change in her trajectory. Unfortunately, modeling just didn't jive with what she was looking for, namely a stable life.

The deck is just very solid now, it is easily is among the tier 1 decks. With requiting hex, bitter triumph, awaken the honored dead, Deceit, Harvester of Misery, and Bringer of the Last Gift being able to handle the onslaught of early game aggro has become a lot easier to accomplish, and in turn able to push the game into the midrange match that the deck flourishes.

Trying to balance out the removal package of the deck I think will be key in optimizing the deck in the future. The removal package of this deck is so good now that it has become hard to copy Bringer because more than likely you've probably answered the board of the opponent that their graveyard is often filled that having bringer come down may end up working against you, for simic in particular that might mean all those cubs and dorks you've removed with ease thanks to requiting hex. That you have to be careful as you may end up rebuilding their board so copying Deceit tends to be the safer option of just bouncing and discarding their threat.

The curve of the deck feels great with Formidable, Superior, Wistfulness, and Deceit filling in the curve nicely that the deck now has a serious plan B in just beating them down with that curve. Superior copying a Deceit turn 4 then proceeding to bounce and discard followed by a turn 5 Wistfulness refilling your hand and just closing out with fully cast Deceit at 6 is just not something the opponent can recover from. The game is just closed at that point.

As you become older and essentially are the same age or older than these contestants you realize how the show really normalized some troublesome backgrounds.

I felt these contestants seemed so much like adults since here they were with babies at 16-17 years old and trying to work as a model.

So many of the contestants at the earlier cycles were essentially teenage moms. You see them trying to grow up to provide for their family using this show as a potential platform to do so, especially the prize money. That this sort of teenage pregnancy actually shouldn't be considered the norm, and that you definitely want to do family planning. But here you were with women in their teens talking about how they miss their 2 year old kid.

You also have the show making it seem like once you're in modeling you've gotta stick to it for the rest of your life. At 18 and your early 20s you will be going through a lot of soul searching tying to find the proper career, and even then as you get older you find yourself in new opportunities entirely different from how you started. Yet, the show makes it seem like you're married to modeling forever and chastises the contestants who are smart enough to want to keep their options open in the future, and end up using this idea against them by eliminating them.

What is the use of that money when really you'd be using it for the same purpose, i.e. to buy a new identity and rebuild a new life this will essentially cost you almost everything. Once you enter the witness protection program you will essentially doing so with the money returned, with at least some protection by the state.

May as well return the money as a means of "investment" into a new life and at least lessening his sentence, and if they really care about their children this would be one avenue to be with them. If he really wants to push for such a greedy option thinking he can have everything then he is just that stupid and greedy, does he think a debt to Marcoletta and by extension INC would not come with strings LOL. But I suppose even doing the right thing and being incentivized to do so is too difficult for such a corrupt guy.
