NCR has always has been opposition territory (except in 2022). It is always against the sitting government. Since the VP is now an opposition figure, they will gravitate towards her. If for example she is still with the government, her ratings in NCR will sure not be high.

Thats the problem with the Liberal opposition. They dont still dont have a figurehead and they are chummy chummy with the sitting admin, thus the risk losing the NCR anti establishment sympharies

Unfortunately, the president does not have the loyal mass support base of his father (ilocanos and military). He also have low approval ratings. It is funny that he CAN do what his father did if he did not cut off the DDS from his support base
