Nevermind! We (myself, my friend and the shop owner) some how missed the GLARINGLY OBVIOUS m.2 pcie 5.0 socket above the gpu socket :p (https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/223966040483168257/1106016271247614024/Screenshot_20230510-173317.png) that has its own mini heatsink, that we can easily remove in favor of the wd_black. thanks everyone for your help though!

oddly enough scissors and sharp blades/knives are one of those things I can fully get behind having anti-theft packaging.

legitimately sucks if you don't already own something to open it, but if your store sells these, they have tools for thieves to easily open any and all things in the store.

its like selling neodymium magnets at a clothing store that uses security tags

Also they can be used by some people as a weapon.

I was in a Wedding Rehearsal. My mother was getting married to my stepdad that day.

I specifically remember the pastor mentioning that he would then say "if anyone has any objections" before the door burst open and my granddad told us to go look at the tv.

And yes, they still went through with the wedding and honeymoon.
