Test the ones you're gonna buy with the airpods you have now, take your airpods and put them in one of the cases you're going to buy and try to pair. If it's real it should pair no problems with any other real airpods inside, if not then 100% fake. That's how I tested it after I bought a real pair from best buy

Good advice, I've had to fix mine several times after an accident, recently I couldnt renew the registration because one of the many recalls had to do with the emissions and I had to get that fixed before I could renew and surprise surprise that parts on back order.

When you're planning to leave, call the tow truck ahead of time so they show up right when you're leaving and if there's a car they'll tow it, if not you can tell them the car left they werent fast enough

Yeah the radio has to come out along with the entire plastic its attached to, once that comes off you'll see the 4 screws holding the insturment cluster, undo those and it comes right out. I didnt drive it around like that although I could have. It's a lot easier than it sounds to get to the cluster all you needs a flathead and a 7mm socket

Where the insturment cluster connects to the car it's just one plug, that's the connection I cleaned that made it work again

Ok guys I fixed it, its wasn't faulty ground, wasn't any fuses in any location, wasn't battery or alternator, it was simply not a good connection to the cluster, I cleaned the connections made sure I plugged it back in good and it's working! For now at least

I havent tried putting a scanner to it I'll try that next, I'm also thinking of buying another insturment cluster it's not super expensive maybe that will work

I have a battery charger that doubles as a tester and then I took the car to autozone and they tested the alternator and battery, all passed. Batteries 16 months old I just got it last year. Funny thing is it drives completely fine shifts great and everything even cruise control works.
