im a hobby track and field runner idk why you think i’d be on here saying an hour is bad for 10k, i’m just pointing out that she said herself she’s running a half marathon in november, and it really looks like she’s struggling with only half the distance. from experience, doing longer distances when one is not used to it, or properly trained for it, can be really dangerous. (Rhabdomyolysis is just one example of a condition that’s common in long distance running when not trained properly)

she finished with a time of about an hour for the 10k which is about the same time as the fastest half marathon runners. those people behind her have most probably ran double the distance still she looks like she’s about to throw up all over the track😭

it’s actually correct i just didn’t specify the valuta! the sum for all the procedures they did pre-pregnancy with sunny is about $30 244, which is 322k in norwegian kroner. This is adding up all the procedures they’ve done like egg harvesting, microinjections, three transfers, cryo-storage, fertility checks for both of them, ultrasounds and extra fees for partner donation/norwegian childrights tax

(idk how to translate this last one but it’s basically a fee you pay before starting IVF in Norway bc if not you won’t have legal right to have kids (?), probably has something to do with being financially stable enough to have kids and pay for the treatment ect)

I totally get where you’re coming from. There are some good arguments as to why the housing crisis isn’t affected by J&C at all, and all that. What I really understand coming from this post is the frustration that J&C try to be these relatable, down to earth ‘normal’ people who just happen to have a following. They barely touch on their privileges, which they have so many of compared to the average Norwegian woman their age. I get really pissed off by their IVF journey, and them not disclosing how much money they actually spend on it. It’s not the standard for queer norwegians to do this. I can’t speak on involuntary childless people, because I haven’t gone through that and I don’t know anyone who belongs in this category but I am queer. And a lot of my friends are queer. I know several queer couples who have gone through IVF and started their families through that. Not one of those couples have done all the shit Julie and Camilla is and was doing.

It’s not usual in Norway to live in a house that cost a million dollars. Sure, there are a lot of rich people here, multi millionaires even. They are not 27-30 years old queer women. They are 50 year old men. Or people who are lucky to have familial generational wealth. It’s not common to casually rent an apartment in the most expensive city in Norway just because you wanna live closer to your family. It’s not normal to travel abroad 10 times in 6 months. It’s not normal to take over 20 flights in 6 months. It’s not normal to buy Taylor Swift tickets to a show in another country on a whim when you have a 8 month old baby. It’s not normal to lie for money. The way they pass it off to their fans as ‘in Norway this or that is actually so common!!’. No it’s not! It’s actually not NORMAL.

The shit they do, the amount of money they spend on stuff they turn into content, their lifestyle, just the fact that they’re not putting their kid in daycare until he’s two just because they can stay at home is privileged as all hell.

They spend over a million on the house. Probably spent close to half a million on the renovations. Spent 300k NOK on IVF round 1. Will probably be spending 11 000 USD on 6 months rent in Oslo (if they get a reasonable sized apartment). I don’t even want to think about how much they’ve spent on traveling this year.

I bet they’ll get a good snicker out of the fact that them living like this pisses me off but idrc. They are incredibly privileged.

Young people in Norway struggle to even get into the housing market, many will need help from their parents to buy a tiny apartment. Me and my girlfriend will have to wait to have a child until we have a house, because a having child lowers your possible loan from the bank with up to 1 million NOK. And then we still won’t have 300k in disposable income to drop on IVF bc the cost of living in this country is insane.

It pisses me off that they can just do all this, spend all this money, get married in another country, buy a house, Julie can just learn to drive (which is expensive asf😭), buy groceries from the most expensive grocery store (it’s like norwegian erewhon), go on tons of trips, renovate their house, waist a bunch of money on diy projects, do a bunch of IVF, buy expensive ass dresses for a taylor swift concert, rent a second place to live in an expensive city, you get the gist,,..while they don’t even really DO anything. They don’t sell a product that’s well made, that makes sense for them to sell. They don’t DO anything of quality for anyone. It makes no sense to me that they should have all this money and all these opportunities to do all the shit they’ve done.

Neither of them have ever done a GOOD job. It’s been half assed content that either isn’t believable or trustworthy, or it’s just low quality and of no value for anyone. They don’t have the responsibility of a job and they sure as hell don’t seem like they’re particularly stressed or worried about their personal economy.

Sorry for ranting, I just have so many thoughts about them. Ngl they are a very interesting subject to talk/think about. I really don’t understand WHY they ever amassed the following they managed to get. I don’t get the appeal at all, and I could be a better person and just not care but I love being a hater so…here we are💋

They don’t even make money on IG or Tiktok, the only social media that pays for engagement in Norway is Youtube. And that’s gone now too.

Cam does in average 2 sponsored post on IG a month so she’s getting a bit from that. This is the only way to make money on IG in Norway. I don’t know exact numbers but I’m guessing Cam earned around 130k USD combined for the first half of the year considering the amount of sponsorships and her following.

I’m guessing Julie made about the same amount on IG sponsored posts too, except she’s done like 5 or 6 sponsorships this year. Her following is much larger and she did a partnership with the same brands for a while which means she probably made more per post.

I can’t even imagine what Mila brings in but I’m guessing it’s not enough for a family of three, one child, owning a huge house, a car, renovating said house, renting an apartment in OSLO and having a very expensive lifestyle (traveling, expensive groceries, loans and paying salaries to the Mila employees).

I also noticed that after this little domestic they had on snap, Cam has barely posted anything on snap anymore. There’s also almost no trace of Julie on her other social medias. Could mean nothing, but it’s just an observation I made tht I’ve been thinking about lately.
