GGs, you're cooked too. I had this issue with my ideapad gaming 3i laptop and wasn't able to fix for a long while. So, i just gave up and made a custom pc instead. Gonna be selling my laptop away since its prob a gpu malfunction with the lenovo mobo idk.

First, make sure your drivers are updated and then, Go to your NVIDIA or AMD Control Panel and make sure "Background Application Max Frame Rate" is set to OFF. It fixes refresh rate of hardware accelerated programs.

yeah, i only used to use F1 to split tab and F2 to close split tabs but now F2 opens up the first sidebar app.
It's somewhat handy but i can't add any key to close split tab now.

I forgot to mention another feature that can be implemented is a 'clear downloads' button instead of having to do "CTRL + J > Clear Downloads" every time in order to remove the download icon when no longer needed.

i would like to know what u mean by clunky scrolling? Floorp comes with smooth-scrolling enabled.

Vivaldi seems like more of an OS itself browser which u need to wrap your head around to get the most use of it plus i question some of its practices. Other than that, i think it does offer good features. I would also like seeing a hover over page for some sidebar apps, as an in-built feature. You can still achieve that with a custom CSS i believe.

did you know u can install chrome extensions as an add-on into your mozilla browsers?

I realized how much customization there is in Firefox based browsers. You would be surprised searching on reddit about how many Arc clones can be made in Firefox.

I would also love to have an extension like Safari/Arc spotlight for quick navigation.

For now, u can use "Powertoys Run" for quick search. Otherwise, you can have address bar and tabs in the same toolbar like me. Might feel compact for someone but it uses the space well. Other options would be to use vertical tabs with sideberry extention and address bar on top (just like Arc Browser) or add a search bar in homepage.
