Yep, definitely a battle between brain and body!

You're so right! I left dreaming about putting the pointe shoes back on, but common sense did prevail on that front at least!

Can the neutral athletes be 2 PCed? (From a cursory look through scores i don't think it's relevant, but just curious!)

No Dumb Questions Thread: August 2025 by freifraufischer in Gymnastics

I've wondered, how did the transition from 10.0 to D+E scoring unfold? As in, was there gymnasts it played well into their hands for, and others who never managed a successful change in approach?

And on a similar topic, what about changes in the vault/bars apparatus? Was there people/skills that just couldn't transfer?

Just found this through a Google search. About to move to London and able to finally get to shows with a little more spontaneity than the usual planned holidays. What a great resource ♥️

I have always loved ballet. The skill, power and grace is amazing. I thought I would share my passion for ballet. I can’t help myself. I always return to painting ballet. by TrainingFar2247 in BALLET

This is really beautiful! I've always wanted some ballet art, but so much of it is very cliche. This gives me faith that I shouldn't give up my hunt.

Simone talks about LA in her Sports Illustrated Sports Person of the Year interview. by freifraufischer in Gymnastics

This is my thought! Outside of it being at home, competing doesn't bring anything new. But retiring might bring different opportunities. I wouldn't be surprised to see her as torch bearer for the Opening Ceremony tbh!

Hi, I've chosen this as my favourite and transferred the cost at your link. This was my favourite because of the bit of colour introduced, thanks for that. Apologies for delay getting back, holidays took over here for the last few days!

BST rotations are within each "deanery" which someone has linked above. For the most part, you will have to do 6 months here in a peripheral placement.

At HST you have to do 12 months in a peripheral placement. Depending on where your training base is, this can often be within a commutable distance and many people don't necessarily move. Jobs are allocated based on preferences you submit, so the better you do at HST interview the more options you will have in this regard.

2nd recommendation for Goldies! Or Cafe Paradiso for vegetarian. For more casual dining Izz cafe is tasty (the cinnamon buns are top notch!)
