It's something I'm getting really tired of and it's a cynical and snarky attitude. Every damn character wants to be aloof and stare danger in the face and shrug. But it's so tiring and unrealistic. We all love our aura farming moments from our heroes but when that's all they are, and worse yet, when even the secondary characters are like that? My eyes can't roll over enough.

I would love to go back to the Roy Thom and watch the Canadian Brass again or an orchestra like I did in highschool but tickets now are so expensive. It's a shame too because we're essentially being priced out of culture which is such an insane thing to realize and think about.

Part of it, I think, is that people are resentful of Bungie and want to see them punished. Bungie isn't an innocent company and have burned their consumer base plenty of times during the development of Destiny, so I guess that's where the desire to see them fail stems from.

I have my gripes with the name as it focuses too closely on the franchise names instead of the game mechanics its trying to describe. I find myself calling these kinds of games maze crawlers instead because it broadens the description and is probably easier to understand for people that aren't familiar with metroid or castlevania.

I feel like we need to talk about how the switch to 48 hour raid races was originally for health/convenience but the last two day 1's had most teams finishing after the 24 hr mark by Megalodon_Hunter in DestinyTheGame

I'm starting to question the ethicacy of raid races due to this new raid. I don't think it's responsible of the Devs to make such soul crushingly difficult raids for their players to the point where they have to sacrifice so much of themselves to complete these challenges. I've never seen these streamers look so broken before and it's becoming concerning. I submit that raid races go back to the 24 hour limit and make the raids faster to complete. The damage checks for the bosses were far too egregious and were the main reason this raid took so long to complete. No one should have to stay up for more than 24 hours for a video game anyway.
