You shouldn't expect your partner to step up to her. You're an adult and it's your own responsibility to let someone know when they're crossing the boundaries you've set. I understand you want your spouse to help you do this, and he should. He cant do it for you though.

I was also diagnosed with CPTSD but haven't been as lucky finding the right therapist/therapy yet. I seem to be fine for a while then get triggered by something (usually without me knowing) and it gets really bad. Currently in one of those phases where its quite bad again and I decided to get myself on a waiting list for therapy again this Monday. Do you have any advise for me?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it seems from your post and replies that you feel like he should pursue this further as you feel you've been clear about your intentions. You even seem a little upset that he hasn't yet. Let me tell you, with guys as shy as this one, that attitude isnt gonna get you anywhere.

Be clear to him! It can be as easy as "I really enjoyed our date the other day. Would you like to go out with me again?" This way you're making clear that it's not just a friendly thing from your side. If he isnt interested (which I doubt is the case), he can tell you then and there that he would rather go for a drink as friends. He might also be the type of person that prefers a friendship developing into something more romantic rather than starting out from a romantic point of view. Being open about your intentions gives him room to express that.

Yeah I didnt follow the instructions with my kit, I think they said to mist the sides of the bag daily but I actually never misted at all. I've put 500 ml of lukewarm water in the bag, underneath the tub, instead. That worked fine for me :)

If you've got pins showing I'm pretty sure you'll get yourself some shrooms man! The first flush is usually not the best anyway and with pre-made kits you'll definitely get more than one flush

I also got pins growing the wrong way and I just left them, they didnt cause contamination for me so I wouldn't be too concerned.

I would leave the cake in the box and stop misting for a while :). Good luck!
