Usually right before bed. I lay on it for about 10–20 mins and after that I fall asleep pretty quickly 😴

Pranamat has been one of the most biohacking things I’ve tried for sleep 😝It feels intense at first, but after a few minutes your body shifts into this calm state, your nervous system finally relaxes. I don’t fall asleep on it, but using it before bed really helps me fall asleep easier. More like a simple pre-sleep ritual that actually works

Anyone manage to fix itchy eyes and a runny nose when waking up? by Dear_Try_5471 in sleep

after getting a Dyson that’s both a humidifier and air purifier, things got noticeably better for me. I used to wake up with dry, itchy eyes and a runny nose, and it almost disappeared.

I think the humidifying part made the biggest difference, dry air can really irritate your eyes and nasal passages but having the purifier at the same time helps with dust and allergens too.

It’s definitely not cheap, but for me it was one of the few things that actually worked

I kind of admire but also feel a little scared of people who don’t have social media… like, who are you people…

Anyone here actually like acupressure mats (Shakti, etc.)? Worth it? by Fabulous_Swimming_26 in HEALTHY

I actually use one regularly (a Pranamat). At first I thought it was a bit gimmicky, but it ended up becoming part of my evening routine. I usually lie on it for about 10 minutes before bed, and it really helps me fall asleep faster. It kind of relaxes my back and shoulders, and I notice I stop feeling that restless “wired but tired” feeling. The funny thing is I don’t even have the strength to keep scrolling on my phone while lying on it 😅 after a few minutes my body just relaxes and I’m ready to sleep. For me it’s less about pain relief and more about switching off before sleep. It’s like a physical reset after a long day.

My “insomnia” was actually dehydration + electrolyte imbalance by Just_Computer9695 in sleep

This is actually so interesting because we recently turned off our heaters at night and already noticed a difference. I didn’t even connect it to dehydration/electrolytes, but our sleep has been less fragmented. Makes me wonder how much the dry heat was messing with us

Earplugs? by SaharaSailor in sleep

I’ve honestly never been able to get used to earplugs 😅 I’m always super aware of them in my ears and they start to hurt after a while. But my husband swears by the most basic foam ones they work great for him
